Discovery Parks - Busselton (formerly known as Amblin Holiday Park)
I love this holiday park, but when an unfortunate incident occurred with a power outage, nobody in the park was given any option other than check out or wait and see. With power outage for 24 hours over Easter Sunday and chalets unlikely to be taken by new visitors, the least they could have done would be to allow the customer a choice to see whether power came back on rather than early check out. After nearly 24 hours we had no alternative but to cut the holiday short or spend another expensive night in darkness with no shower. For some bizarre reason, the rude staff on the front desk didn’t seem to comprehend this, but reluctantly extended our checkout to midday. Power was still not restored and didn’t look likely, so we left. After begging for a refund for the last night, we were told when we left ‘don’t come back!’ Such a shame when Kelly & the other staff on site are nice & friendly as others let you down.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay last weekend. The view was amazing and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We took out some canoes and fed the local wildlife which would often visit us on our balcony. Room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Margaret River Tourist Park over Easter and we booked with our caravan. We were given a motorhome site which is a bitumen site. These sites are spacious and the grass sites we saw looked nice too, with lots of nice green grass. The thing I liked most about this place was the actual grounds - lots of green grass, lovely trees and gardens. Unfortunately, the facilities let it down. The amenities are in a huge need of an upgrade. they are probably some of the worst I have seen in a caravan park. I don't mind if a place and its facilities are old but having things broken like shower taps, the door being almost impossible to open etc is something that needs to be fixed regardless of age. Also, the amenities were very messy and dirty and being over peak period when the whole caravan park is full, the toilets were out of toilet paper for 2 days - not acceptable. Aside from that, the staff we saw were friendly and the caravan park is about a 1km walk to the main street of Margaret River.

A quiet oasis in a bustling city, we offer a range of accommodation and facilities for families and travellers, both young and young at heart. Whether you're travelling, working or on holiday, we have an option to suit you. Our self contained villas, park homes, and Glamping Village are surrounded by immaculate grounds and lush, shady peppermint trees - a haven for our guests and native wildlife to enjoy. Set in a friendly atmosphere for a relaxing holiday, our facilities include a below ground swimming pool, games room, playground for children and barbecue facilities. If you're planning to stay a night, a week or long term, we have a place for you to call home. We also have direct beach access with a cycle path leading into town and the iconic Busselton Jetty. Across the road from our park is a shopping centre that can cater for all you needs as it includes a supermarket, pharmacy, news agents, hairdresser and liquor store.
I was pleasantly surprised the accommodation was great, good size room, beds comfortable, unit clean and presentable and included basic essential items in the room. Location was great near the beach, access to the town centre and surrounding tourist locations. Functional and practical accommodation for a family

RAC Busselton Holiday Park is located on the doorstep of Busselton and Dunsborough. It is unique as it is nestled within 8ha of natural bush-land but only a short 300 metre stroll to the white sands and crystal clear waters of Geographe Bay. Relax in the leafy natural surroundings of Peppermint trees with huge areas of wide open spaces so you can stretch out. All our caravan and camping sites are grassed and are of a generous size to accommodate large vans and motor homes. Our holiday park was redeveloped in 2005 with new roads and facilities which makes it first class.
Stayed for 3 nights in a studio unit. Issue with smoke alarm going off all night (interrupting sleep) and when I informed staff, they said 'yes, we know about that' ... so why put put people in the unit??? Issue with empty fly-spray can (mosquitos were about) - said they would replace it - this never happened - pretty poor service. Issue with a noisy 'war-game' activity for children, set-up right outside my unit. Very disruptive and annoying, who made this senseless decision to have a noisy activity where residents are staying when there is plenty of room at the back of the park ??? When I went to inform staff about the latter, I forgot to bring my mask. When I went into the reception, staff went way-over-board with their reactions (even though I had covered my face with my t-shirt!). They got paranoid about it treating me like I was an escaped criminal !!! One of the ladies (older lady) was rude and aggressive about it. Total stupidity. The unit itself – very average (dated). Overpriced as well (profit gouging).

Escape to another world at Tasman Holiday Parks – Yallingup Caves. Nestled alongside the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, you’re surrounded by nature and some of the best scenery around. Enjoy sunset over the beach and the sights and sounds of the bush, with the bonus of good coffee and the iconic Caves House Hotel just across the road! Explore the walking trails around the park, swim in the lagoon, surf spectacular breaks and throw in a line. Or take it easy and relax. Enjoy a bottle of the local wine and a grazing platter in our green and grassy park while you watch the kids burn off energy!
Nice shady park. Grass to front of the park was lovely. The bays were a bit sandy, however the pad for the caravan was ok, it was level. Lots of tree cover. Fantastic campers kitchen, clean, modern and large. The open fire place would be fabulous on a winter night. Caravan En-suites were very clean. Only thing is that the en-suites are old and dark. Brown brick, brown tiles just too dark. So 60’s! Would be nice to update the en-suites. I would still stay there again!

RAC Margaret River Nature Park is nestled amidst the tall timber of the Wooditjup National Park (formally Bramley) in the heart of Margaret River. Choose from self-contained cabins, safari-style tents or powered camp sites. We offer a beautiful nature based eco-experience with a range of attractions and activities, and provide adults and children alike the opportunity to holiday with nature and experience the vast beauty first hand.
Lovely and peaceful, we went after school holidays though. It was full when we arrived and just after lunchtime it was pretty quiet and hardly any one there. We loved it. It was central to everything. My husband,s only gripe was the driveway it needs to be grated or made into bitumen. We loved it.

Loved our stay at Taunton farm. We didn't have any children with us on this stay but thoroughly loved the animals and feeding time. The kids all looked to be having a blast. The little cafe converted from an old church was delightful land the arancini delicious. Staff were welcoming and always of service when needed. Ablution blocks clean and tidy and the camp fire fantastic. Can wait to go back this time with the grandchildren. Forgot to mention great location, walk to cheeses factory, and short drive to chocolate factory, gun distilleries and wineries. Do try 3 Millies and The Grove. Fantastic

In a natural, peaceful bushland setting just 2.5 kilometres from the beach and Gracetown. The Gracetown Caravan Park is central to the Margaret River region's many wineries, galleries, cafes and restaurants, caves, surfing and swimming beaches and adventure activities.
Friendly helpful staff. Cabins are privately situated among beautiful bush setting. Recently refurbished in modern light colors, bright and airy and well appointed kitchen and bathroom facilities. Would highly recommend for short or long stay.
