Whether you rent a tent or a cabin you won’t be disappointed! They’re situated in a peaceful surrounding along a trout stream you’d love to fly fish! You can rent a boat, a golf cart and cabanas on the beach, too! Bring the kids for swimming, too! You just can’t go wrong and we love this place! Great for family reunions, weddings or a birthday celebration! My husband is changing the location of the family’s fishing trip location, a 50 year tradition, to Sankoty Lakes! Staff are the friendliest while going there extra mile. Wow!

My husband and I have been going to Woodland Cabins for a few years now and we’d rate it 20 stars if we could! Its a 6 hour drive for us but well worth it every time. We stay at the Fern Glen and the cabin is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and has all the amenities you could ever need. Its located close to hiking, restaurants and wineries. Its also extremely affordable for what you get! We can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful, new Log Cabins near the Shawnee National Forest! 1 Bedroom, Hot Tub Cabins, as well as 2 Bedroom, Log Cabins. Closest cabins to the popular Garden of the Gods in Southern Illinois!
These cabins are wonderful! Very very clean, full kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub was so nice. The cabins are well built and the craftsmanship of the building was amazing. We will be back. Just gorgeous. The sunset view we captured does not begin to show just how amazing the view was…we were in the garden of the gods.

Our campground and RV park is located in southern Illinois off I-57 at exit #77, 6 miles north of Benton and just a short distance south of I-64. We are easy access from the interstate with our easily accessible pull-thru sites having full hook-ups, sewer, water and electric year round, Jan. through Dec. We offer modern amenities in a quiet wooded resort type atmosphere. We honor Good Sam and FMCA. See you all this Year!!
Nice clean park with good roads. Easy in and easy out. Electricity, water and sewer properly placed for easy connection. 42 ft fifth wheel had plenty of room to navigate and set up. Would stay here again if in the area. Also, less than a mile away, a nice winery to have lunch and a few samples.

Our family enjoyed this camp group to the max! They have so many fun things to do for everyone in the family. The kids enjoyed the lounge area and the playground. The staff is exceptional and are willing to go above and beyond to make you stay the best possible. Jennifer Rodriguez is a rockstar. She was friendly, fun and so helpful. We loved our adventures here.

We just arrived and we are VERY happy we found this park. It is big rig friendly, well taken care of, secure, friendly staff, and we are impressed. We have a 39’ MH with tow and the park works well for us. We have been full timing for 7 years and have stayed at many places—good and not so good. This RV park is remarkable and we would HIGHLY recommend to anyone traveling or vacationing in Springfield. I am certain their amenities are great too in the summer—we visited to early to enjoy. Great place! :) Keep up the good work!

The owner and management of this KOA cannot be beat. We experienced health emergencies, and then vehicle problems on top of it, and these people were amazing. They have been more than accomodating and helpful, and I cannot say enough nice things. We will definitely recommend, and hope to return someday!

For those who choose to stay longer we have planned activities available for the kids on holiday weekends and amenities that include a seasonal swimming pool, playground, fishing pond and unique natural beauty.
This was a good place to stay. The host made sure we were checked in, in spite of the rain. There was a swimming pool, a kids playground and a dog park. I would stay here again. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The laundry room was clean and the washer and dryers worked.

We have stayed here three times and have never been disappointed. Every time we visited the grass was mowed, the sites were cleaned and lake/reservoir was clean. When you arrive you go to the front entrance and the owners escort you to your site. Everyone that works there seems friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The park has bathrooms, showers, a fenced in dog park, a basketball courts and a beautifully remodeled dock with chairs and catch and release fishing.
