Reviewed By Michael AYou really get your money's worth camping at this luxury camp site. The sunset camel ride to the desert was spectacular. You spend about 2 hours to walk in the sand dunes and get a great view of the sunset. Then dinner is non-stop food. It was so delicious that it was hard to stay awake to see the stars at night. The rooms were better than hotels I've stayed at in the United States. I went in January so it did get very cold at night, but the blankets somehow kept me warm. Sunrise was another spectacular experience and breakfast was once again non-stop food options. And somehow this all cost under $50 USD. The only regret I had was that I didn't do 2 nights out here. What a relaxing and beautiful experience.

Perfect stay in the desert
Reviewed By roca83Short summary to the beginning: just book and enjoy, they exceeded our expectations!! We were the only guests for 2nights and they treated us like queen and king :) The camp in total is very nice, perfectly maintained and clean and the tents with all the details and decorations are beautiful. You have your private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We had there our best breakfast during our trip and they serve an amazing 5 course dinner in the evening. Mohamed showed me the whole camp including his little garden and his chickens :). You can feel that they do all this by heart and the service of the staff was amazing and they really deserve 5*

Reviewed By michaelkJ9368CROur time in the Royal Luxury Camp was wonderful. Our private camp was perfect for us and the other couple traveling with us. Running water for showers and the bathrooms, wifi, and clean quiet tents made our stay quiet and comfortable. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. The camp was secluded, private and quiet and we felt like we were the only ones for miles and miles. The sunset camel ride from our camp to an isolated dune overlooking the red sands and the colorful sunset made our last night in the desert something we will always remember with fondness. We passed other camps on the way in to ours, but they were not private, small, or quiet. Royal Luxury Camp is the choice I would recommend for anyone seeking a perfect desert experience.

Elegant tents in the Desert
Reviewed By mgkmomOur Morocco desert experience was enjoyable from start to finish - thanks to Ali and the beautiful tent camp he has created. On arrival at the camel rendevous at 6 PM we were invited to mount our 2 camels and were escorted some distance into the dunes to a place where we could sit and view the sunset without distraction from any view of "civilization". One of our most memorable sunsets ever! Then, we rode the camels a short distance to the camp, where we were met by the amiable Ali and escorted to our lovely tent. Since we were the only guests in the camp that night, we enjoyed a visit with Ali who then served us a delicous and more than ample dinner of Moroccan specialites (tagine, of course!) in the dining tent. After dinner we viewed the stars with awe, and retired to our tent, complete with heater and bathroom - not camping at all! We set our alarms to ensure we were up to view the sunrise over the majestic dunes and weren't disappointed. Breakfast, again served by Ali, was delicious. It was a perfect night and a special glimpse into an era and culture not of our own. I highly recommend a visit here - thank you Ali!

Reviewed By Stuart FThe camp has four luxury tents, a dining tent and areas around a fire. Omar (the host) is very friendly, chatty and a character. Each tent has a large shower area,toilet and massive bed. Really is luxury. The camel rides at sunset and sunrise are each about 30 minutes of camel ride on very well behaved camels. It rained heavily in he night but the tent stayed mostly dry. Lovely clear skies for star gazing after the rain. Did this as part of merzougajourneys.com tour.

The stuff were great and very welcoming. I recomad it for couples and families as well ?? lots of activities like visiting the desert lake and see the nomade familles and enjoy the Berber pizza and more....

The second day we had a great dessert tour with 4x4. Staff was available and very helpful, made us feel very welcomed. Mohammed & Achraf thank you very much for introducing us Merzouga dessert in such an astonishing way! ???
