Our visit was really peaceful and the view was mesmerizing..If you want to reconnect with Nature this is the best place..And the staff were really helpful and sweet..Food was simple and tasty.Room tariffs and food cost are cheap-best value for money.

A delightful glamping experience tucked away in the midst of verdant splendour a short drive from Pasighat's cacophany, the Siang-side Abor River Camp is the perfect getaway for nature-lovers and solitude seekers. They offer a host of activities - sightseeing, village hikes, river rafting - but what I enjoyed most, and have a vivid memory of, was waking up to birdsong and endlessly gazing out at the river from the deck of our well-appointed tent. The food's great, fresh and homey, and the team overseeing the place was very courteous and friendly on both my visits.

Come, visit us and feel one with nature. Experience the rich local culture, food, flora and fauna that Miao has to offer. Get one with the local tribes, take in the sights and smells with a walk in the local market. Enjoy the quiet riverside of the Noa Dihing River with snacks and your favorite drinks/books. Take in the scenic views and dense jungles. Experience Arunachal Pradesh.
We stayed for two, non consecutive and had a very enjoyable time each night. The bungalows are very well equipped and were having their roof coverings renovated whilst we were there. The nights were cold, but a large fire was built each night and we had our dinner sitting around them. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The owner spent each dinner time with us and explained much about the tribes and region.

If one does not need TV or wi-fi connectivity but looks for the Daurian Redstart to greet one in the morning from the clearing next to the hutment, this is the place for you. First of all, Pakke is not easy of access, requiring a drive of 6 to 7 hours from Guwahati, and parts of the road via Mangaldoi, Tezpur and Balipara can be bad. Secondly, the Camp itself is about 9 kms. from the Tiger Reserve Centre and the main bazaar at Seijusa. So, a vehicle at disposal is necessary and, in any case, unlike other tiger reserves there are no Gypsies or jeeps ready at hand. The upside is that the hutments though basic are good and the attached toilet with western style WC is a bonus. While water is available round the clock (and hot water in buckets on request) power supply is somewhat erratic. But the Camp has its own small generator and that usually takes care of the evening. Food is good and adequate and best of all, on time with even packed breakfast ( for those who want to enter the forest early) even at 6 a.m. The campus is large and full of trees and one may glimpse the Green-billed malkhoa or the Slaty-backed Flycatcher at fairly close distance. The staff, and there are only a few of them under the supervision of Mr. Takum, are helpful and obliging. Would love to go back again.

At the first glimpse you won't get that feel. But once you stay there for a few hours, the tranquillity ,the wildness ,the chill tributary ,the magnificient camp cottage everything will make you feel relaxed and refreshed. It's a sojourn ..the beauty of sunset and sunrise view here is inexplicable, the sound of the water was the best thing. The food was aesome, service was great. And would love to mention about RAJ the service boy,he was simply a very gentle ever smiling person who gave us such nice hospitality. There are 4 cottages ,each with two rooms and attached bathroom. Rooms are spacious with all facilities from charge points to all basic essentials. And for additional RAJ is there.

We had originally planned to stay 2 nights here but decided to make it one night and we regret the decision. We should have stayed here for 2 nights. Mr. Das from the Forest office at Miao helped us to book our accommodation and Mr. A Paron, The Field Officer in-charge at Miao helped us to get a VIP room (Hornbuill) in the first floor. The place is one of the best to spent time with nature and calmness is everywhere. The water problem has been resolved as informed by Paron Sir who has played an instrumental role in modernizing the Guest House for the comfort of the visiting guests. The travelers can book their accommodation at Miao office (we were informed that online booking is also possible). The staff are extremely nice and prepare very good quality food. Early mornings are very nice with chirping of birds everywhere. You can walk down to the river bed and cross the river to visit the other side of the jungle (trekking). You can also take an elephant ride (2 persons at a time). We got many birds like Minivet male and female, golden oriole, shrike, Sultan Tit, etc.. We could see a Hornbill flying off when we were coming back,. We could hear the sound of the Hillock Gibbons but could not see them. The giant squirrels are everywhere. The flying squirrel could not be photographed in the night as it went off. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is literally the worst resort I have visited in Arunachal Pradesh. Hospitality is what is missing for the staffs out here .we contacted them 24 hours before going and they literally asked about all the information they needed about us, we were a friends group of 4 people, after asking about how to book they told that booking was not necessary and we can go directly. This was literally the same word told by them, and after we reached after travelling more then 100km they said that they don't want to give any room and there is no rooms available, it was very evident tha this was not the case . The guy who was behaving very rudely while talking was already giving very creepy look to the girl that was in the group. we were disgusted also before having the final discussion that we won't get the cabins we ordered coffees and once we were told we won't get the room , we told that in that case if it's there mistake for communication, we won't drink any coffee and neither would pay .but he very rudely forced as to pay for the coffee that we didn't even drink nor saw even the cups. Very very unprofessional and untrained staffs Please visit any other resort but not this place.

Fabulous location, lacking infrastructure Riverfront tents, spacious rooms, poorly designed toilets, water ran out, there was no place to keep or hang clothes in the bathroom. The switches were strangely located -so mobiles were dangling while on charge! Insufficient lighting. The staff were friendly and churned out decent dinner but it took very very long. They took 30+ minutes for just tea and we were the only occupants! It was cold and a kettle or hot wtaer flask in the room would have helped. They are banking on just their location which is very very scenic
