This turtle watching gives you the opportunity to see the endangered leatherback turtles coming on to the beach to lay their eggs. You can also assist with the tagging and recording of this ritual. The tour is 5 to 6 hours and only takes place from March to August. It will depart from your hotel/ pickup location in Port of Spain around 6pm.

Your 4-hour tour starts you off with a drive through a winding country road to visit a farmers' market located in a very scenic and lush valley This market focuses on organic produce and being environmentally friendly. Besides being able to do some shopping, you will also be enjoying some of the food the indigenous tribes used to eat. You will then be driven to the market town of Chaguanas where your senses will be enjoying the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes (so walk with an empty tummy!) Experience with a difference, a natural mud bath at L’eau Michel Mud Volcano in south Trinidad. Unlike other mud volcanoes in Trinidad, the mud at L’eau Michel is semi solid and liquid enough for visitors to bathe in.  The mud flows out through active vents. The mud here is not hot despite what the term ‘volcano’ might suggest, the mud is cool and smooth and so dense it keeps you a float. This is usually followed by a short 30-minute hike to the southern coast to L’eau Michel Beach. The tour concludes with a stop at the Roti Shop and Debe to experience their Cuisine.
