This is a must do while in Iceland. A a tour that offers a variety of natural wonders and stops that makes the day one you will not forget. Visiting the family at Efstidalur farm is not offered by most tour company's but we would not want you to miss it for anything. Faxi waterfall is a hidden gem you will most likely experience all by yourself. The tomato farm is simply a magical place to stop and have a quick bite or a drink, or both!

My wife and I were supposed to go on tour with this group on Thursday, 13/05/2021 and we recieved an email the day before stateing the tour was canceled due to covid restrictions. This is odd as there were still tour groups doing tours, and had this been the real issue they should have told us sooner than a day prior. This short notice cost us a large amount of money in setting up a tour with a different group.

The Golden Circle tour is the most popular tour in Iceland, that takes you through some of Iceland’s most famous natural attractions. On the one-full day, we will see the Thingvellir National Park, known for its historical and geological value. Then, we visit the second largest waterfall in Iceland, Gullfoss, and the geothermally active Haukadalur valley also called the Valley of Geysers. Other attractions on the way will be Kerid Crater, Nesjavellir geothermal area, and the Fridheimar greenhouse. We suggest taking lunch at Fridheimar greenhouse to enjoy dishes made with local tomatoes growing next to the tables.

Our family of five - kids 10, 8 and 3 - enjoyed two wonderful tours with Sergei: Golden Circle and South Coast. Sergei was everything you would want in a host and guide - kind, very knowledgeable, patient and enjoyable. Our three year old daughter said he was her new best friend! :-) The sights on both tours were absolutely amazing as well, of course. We were very glad we could do both, and it would be hard to pick one over the other. That said...if you have to do just one, we would do the South Coast. So dramatic and beautiful. It does not include a geyser, like Golden Circle, but otherwise hits all of the high notes - waterfalls, geological sights and Icelandic history. South Coast does have a longer drive back to Reykjavík, but our kids enjoyed a chance to nap and we had time to chat with Sergei. If you are thinking about a private tour for Golden Circle or South Coast, use Top Iceland!!

We traveled with Andres on this tour for two days. Such a beauty of nature starting with exhibition Lava centre in small town, we continue to several waterfalls and much more. Just to make it shorter, day later we visited glacier, glacial lagoon, diamond beach and else. Andres was very knowledgeable, he was willing to stop on some special spots so it was really private tour.

We went to Iceland on the 17th March for 4 nights, on the 18th March we went to search for the northern lights as it was a really clear night. At first there was nothing, and our tour guide, Gunnar, said we would leave at 12 if the lights didn’t appear because people were getting tired and cold. Like magic, at 12 they started to show and got stronger and stronger, they were really visible and looked amazing! After everyone had taken pictures and enjoyed the lights, we all got back in the van to leave, when Gunnar shouted for us all to get back out again, when we stepped out of the van the sky was literally covered with dancing lights, it was so magical! Gunnar really wanted to make the experience the best he could for us all, and he took pictures of everyone under the lights. Making our trip even more special, my partner asked me to marry him under the lights and even though Gunnar had packed away his camera, he didn’t hesitate to go and get it back out again to take some personal, special pictures of me and my partner. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour and tour guide, thank you Gunnar!
