Marche (Italian pronunciation: [ˈmarke]), or the Marches /ˈmɑːrtʃɪz/, is one of the twenty regions of Italy. The name of the region derives from the plural name of marca, originally referring to the medieval March of Ancona and nearby marches of Camerino and Fermo. Marche is well known for its shoemaking tradition, with the finest and most luxurious Italian footwear being manufactured in this region.

This tour was so so good. Our tour guide Angelo was amazing. He knew everything there was to know and was able to answer any and all questions brought up to him even if they were about things not related to the tour exhibitions. It was worth seeing both the Uffizi and the Accademia. There were no lines to skip due to the covid-19 situation as we took this tour a week before things got shut down but I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to florence as it is not only a tour of the two big galleries but also a small city walking tour.

I have programmed this tour in honor of the best rider of the world ever existed, whose name is Valentino Rossi. Who loves motor-bike racing can not know what Valentino represents for the bike category, that over the last 20 years has won and established his supremacy in all the world's circuits. Nine times world champion, the only one of having won in all motor-bike racing categories. The doctor, so he likes to be called or, to take a step backward, Rossifumi because when he was a youth, was extremely fascinated by Norifumi Abe, a Japanese rider. Who doesn't know him, but loves bike racing, well click here or watch the video to discover a bite of his talent.

This tour far exceeded our expectations! At first we were a little surprised to be told we were going to a saffron farm, as that hadn't been mentioned previously. It actually turned out to be a fascinating experience. We got to try the local saffron, including saffron infused beer, honey along with some of the local cheese and meats. We then went to castello tricerchi for a tour of a vineyard, cellars and the castle itself. The place was stunningly beautiful, and we got to have a wine tasting in the castle itself. After that we went to Martoccia which was another beautiful vineyard just outside montalcino. The cellar tour was fascinating, and it was followed by a 4 course lunch with wine tasting. The food was spectacular, and the wine was incredible. We were lucky enough to be able to try the new 2015 brunello which hadn't even been labelled yet. Our tour guide Nadia was extremely knowledgable and very relaxed. The tour actually finished 2 hours late, but she didn't seem to mind. She even let us store our wine in her office so we could go and explore Montalcino in the evening. Fantastic tour. Would thoroughly recommend
