Fantastic experience traveling with Avani travel services. The owner Sudarshan understand the traveller needs well and personally ensures the experience is kept high at all times, extremely humble and professional. I did a two week NE India wildlife tour with them and Sudarshan was so committed that he made good for a driver who couldn't turn up by offering to travel with me for second half of the tour. He ensured I get good birding guides in all parks to show me around and help identify the birds well. Stay at a private Tea garden was excellent with the owner Sunil taking a great care of the visitors. I Recommended Avani travel Services for NE tours of Solo/family/group travellers, they specialise in both nature tours and cultural tours.

It all started when I initially booked my tickets for Guwahati in the month of January for my travel between 1 April to 9 April. Initially I wanted to go for Meghalaya and that is when I approached Bikramjit from TripNortheast for a customized itenarary. After a lot of detailed discussions we decided to change the destination to Arunachal since the timing would be much better. Right from the beginning the experience with Bikramjit has been very pleasant. The trip was also planned perfectly and he fulfilled all the promises and we had a beautiful and memorable experience. Now really looking forward to Meghalaya trip sometime this year or next with him. Thank you Bikramjit and Arindam for providing a great experience

Our trip was a little different to most as I had pre-planned a personalised 13 day tour of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh with hotels and points of interest and asked Grand Eastern Holidays to quote on the total price (including a driver). Although a few of my selected hotels were exchanged with Grand Eastern Holidays preferred choices, the overall quality of hotels and homestays was very good. Raktim contacted us several times during the trip to make sure everything was going well and met us near the end to introduce himself and explain his company. The part that really made the trip special was the driver provided. We have used many drivers across India but Ajay was the best driver we have had. He was always on time and had a great disposition. His driving (through very difficult road and weather conditions) was first class. I would highly recommend Raktim and his team - especially with Ajay as your driver.

Last month I took my family for a 6 nights 7 days tour after planning for weeks. We first went to Cherrapunjee and visited Nohkalikai falls, a splendid beauty. We spent some quality time inside the mawsmai cave. We cover Mawlynnong, Dawki and jowai. While boating at Dawki felt like we were boating on a mirror, the river was super see through. Most amazingly we visited the Monoliths, this a lesser known tourist place, but according to my point of view people should come to visit this place where you can feel the history. After jowai we went to Shillong and next day we went to Kaziranga. Here is a general advice, if you want to do the elephant safari go to the booking counter at least 2 hour before they open. Otherwise you won't get the tickets. At noon we visited Kaziranga orchid park, felt like we have seen every orchid i n the planet. Some cultural function was going very there during our visit, enjoyed a lot. Here another advice, try to have launch there, a true Assamese cuisine. Thanks to Foothills Tour for organizing our trip. They really know how to manage time. Driver was super funny and friendly.
