Set amid the coastal Chugach Mountains, Anchorage defies popular visions of polar ice caps and frozen tundra. It’s also warmer than you think (averaging 65 degrees in summer), making conditions ideal for sight-seeing or taking on uniquely Alaskan opportunities like arctic biking or touring the fjords of Prince William Sound. In the winter, you can ski, dogsled or do both simultaneously by "skijoring," which is cross-country skiing while being towed by a dog. Hey, it's no crazier a winter sport than the biathlon.

Traveling solo, I was skeptical and overwhelmed with options but the folks at Salmon Berry really made everything so easy! Even though I booked and rebooked tours (that was just me being indecisive!), they accommodated all my needs and even found a last minute spot for me on the Prince William Sound tour. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for making my Alaska trip so memorable!

Lori was amazing!! My husband and I did two different tours with Lori and loved the two trips. She was very knowledgeable on Alaskan history, an avid traveler who understands the beauty of traveling, and just an overall great host to Alaska. I would highly recommend her and her team for first time visitors who may not know much about the history of Alaska or those who want to just sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of the state. My husband I can sing enough praise for 907 tours.

Amazing! Bryan is so awesome at this brewery tour stuff. This was my husband’s 1st and my 2nd tour with Big Swig and we could not be more pleased with our day. Bryan started things off right by communicating (by text) several days before to let us know the plan for lunch and for pick up. Picked us up at our hotel and took us to the train station. The train ride was fantastic... food, scenery, drinks! Bryan was waiting at the station like he was anxious to see us... not waiting in the van. Four different breweries, four fun experiences. We all had our favs but all were great in their own right. Dropped off back at our hotel with huge smiles on our faces. One last note... Bryan was super knowledgeable about beer, breweries and Alaska itself. Can’t wait to do it again!
