One team, one room, one mission. Can you escape in just 60 minutes? Real-life room escape games are a type of physical adventure game in which people are locked in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit. Think of it as a mix between The Da Vinci code and a treasure hunt. Here at Lock and Code we intend to deliver an unforgettable experience, with story driven and atmospheric rooms. Our rooms are suitable for couples, groups of adults, families and older children. You need a minimum of 2 people to play and a maximum of 6 for each room. (don't worry, if you're playing as a couple or smaller group, you still get the room to yourself. We wont add in other players like some other escape rooms!
My partner and I took part in the escape room, music box. On arrival the host was welcoming followed the covid rules, which enabled us to feel safe. The game was brilliant! The puzzles were challenging, we laughed and escaped with 34 seconds to spare! We would recommend this, it was a great date night. Dave and Katy

The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare is the largest dedicated Rotorcraft Collection in the world, with over 80 helicopters displayed inside the museum's iconic hangar! Favourites include two of the Queen’s Royal Flight helicopters, the world speed record holder G-LYNX (400 km per hour!), the Vietnam Veteran Huey and the Hind Russian Gun Ship. Explore the old airfield's restored Pilots Block where you will find the ‘Weston Aviation Exhibition’ telling the story of Weston-super-Mare’s famous aviation past. Outside on the old taxiway visitors will be wowed by the 30 foot ‘Bristol Bloodhound’ Missile - the rockets of which were made just down the road in Banwell shortly after WW2. You don’t have to be an aviation buff to enjoy the museum and there’s plenty for kids to do - interactive zone, film theatre and ‘Play Copter’ are all family favourites! Regular open cockpit days give you a chance to climb aboard, have the controls explained to you by an expert and pose for a photo!
A lovely museum who have put a fantastic one way system in place to help social distancing, if you gift aid you ticket you get a free return within the year

Celebrating the history of Weston-super-Mare and its surrounding areas. In line with government guidance, Weston Museum is closed to the public.
The main museum is on the first fllor, with a display about the area from prehistoric times (there's a small ichthyosaur skeleton); downstairs there's a temporary exhibit area, currently showing the development of the town as a holiday resort.. At the back you can visit Clara's Cottage, a small terraced house preserved sine the 1940s. There's a cafe currently serving teas. coffees and cakes.

You can walk from Knightstone Island, either across the causeway or along the Cove itself, to Anchor Head and Birnbeck Pier. There is a cafe at Anchor Head. I always admire the almost-Continental shrubbery along the rocks lining the Cove. Also there seems to be many more benches in memory of dear departed ones all along the rockeries lining the Cove. Madeira Cove has an atmosphere of its own, very calming and relaxing, even in the wind although it's usually less windy hereabouts as it is somewhat sheltered. We had a delicious stroll, admiring the views on all sides. The sun was low in the sky and was streaming across the water! Absolutely lovely. We're so lucky to have beautiful walks like this.

A friendly local pub in the Knightstone area of Weston-super-Mare. Easily accessible from the seafront. We are at the top of Greenfield Place which is next to the seafront 'Crazy Golf'. We are a free house, and locals and visitors are assured of a warm welcome. We sell locally sourced real ale, premium lagers and a wide range of wine and spirits. Free Wi-Fi is available - ask at the bar for the password. Quiz night is held every Tuesday and we have free events which are advertised on our Facebook page.
Really welcoming and friendly pub. I really love coming here, great selection of real ales, allbeit only 3 due to covid atm. I also love the Korev larger, not seen it anywhere else in town. I would ignore all the bad reveiws its really not the pubs fault, it's the government rules for all pubs at the moment.
