Our story goes back a long way. Over a hundred years and five generations in fact. From running cattle to fruit growing, our family's experience and love for agriculture has remained strong. We've learnt a few things along the way; paramount being conservation. Being stewards of the land which has provided for so many, for so long, is a task we take seriously. Come visit our straw bale wine shop.
great place awesome views and the best staff to deal with. I would recommed Off the Grid Winery to everyone.

Guided horse-back riding with stunning views of Okanagan lake and Kelowna city. Rides are catered to meet your needs. By appointment only.
We booked a ride for a group of 5 to celebrate a birthday and the majority of our group hadn't ridden in decades. We were all made to feel extremely safe and comfortable, and they did an exceptional job matching riders with their beautiful horses! Highly recommend - thank you for your hospitality Crystal & Jeff!

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. Started by Karnail Singh Sidhu and family, Kalala has been making award winning, reasonably priced wines since July 2006. The vineyards were deemed certified organic in September 2010. Our philosophy is to allow the varietal characteristics and terroir to be truly expressed and only enhanced by minimal handling during winemaking. We welcome you to visit our tasting room and experience the finest of what the Okanagan has to offer. TASTING ROOM HOURS: April 1st to Oct 31st Open Daily 10am to 6pm Nov 1st to March 31st Open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm or by appointment
One of the most beautiful vineyards in Kelowna, Kalala Organic Estate Valley was certainly one of the highlights of my first ever trip to the Okanagan Valley. Family owned and run, the essence of Kalala lies in the passion and warmth of its owners and employees. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the family members during my wine tasting experience and they told me about the Kalala Story, which is not just impressive, but truly inspiring! The vineyard is the brainchild of an engineer turned viticulturist, who, along with his wife and kids, is the proud owner of one Canada’s most awarded wineries. The staff at the winery are not just professional, but very kind and friendly. The values with which they run this little gem of a vineyard are unparalleled, producing some of the most delicious organic wines. While their Dostana is the showstopper, I liked the entire selection of wines that I tasted. Coupled with stunning views of the Okanagan Lake, this winery is an absolute must visit while in Kelowna!

Little Straw Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery with vineyard plantings dating back to the mid-70's. The majority of our wines are made from our estate-grown grapes. In our large, airy wine shop you can sample our wines free of charge, although we encourage cash donations to our local food bank. We offer an eclectic array of wine-related condiments, regional literature, and gift items to round out your visit. Between noon and 6 pm daily you can enjoy a tapas-style meal in our on-site lounge, the Barrel Top Grill.
This hidden gem is a “DO NOT MISS” Winery in West Kelowna. At Little Straw you will find some of the best wine under $20 in all of B.C. I went there with a friend in August 2020 and we left with 11 bottles! Which is the most I’ve ever bought at a winery. Their sweeter patio friendly whites are wonderful and we found some reds we enjoyed too. The customer service was incredible and we got to meet Barb the wine maker who is incredibly passionate about making wine. Also, their COVID 19 protocols are some of the best I’ve seen and we felt very safe. This winery should be more popular and you HAVE to stop next time you’re in the area

We are a farm gate winery focused on producing premium certified organic wines expressive of the vintage and vineyard. Come visit us for a tasting and a tour - We are open all four seasons! Only 7 minutes from downtown, our winery is just across the bridge in West Kelowna.
Three of us dropped by mid day and had a wine tasting directed by the younger Neil. He made it a fun experience after wiping down the table and the chairs. He was very easy to talk to and answered our questions in a way that all of us understood. One of our group bought a bottle of unoaked Chardonnay. When we got home and offered a taste to our husbands, they refused at first because it was Chardonnay. But after they tasted it, they changed their mindS and actually went back and bought more! That wine is awesome! Very friendly atmosphere...the winemaker was there to answer questions too!

This dock was here when I was kid, and still is. The district of West Kelowna has done well maintaining the facility for families and the children to enjoy the fantastic okanagan lake during the summer months. Could be better if the district was enforce the parking area for time usage so more could enjoy. Too many locals park there for the day to catch the bus to work. Not right, its a facility for all to use not just a parking lot.

My sister and I visited Glen Canyon Regional Park to search for several geocaches. Before we entered the park, we read the informational sign and learned that in the area we were in, there were three scenic, well-marked trails to choose from. Dogs are allowed on leash. Our quest took us on the Doe Trail. We enjoyed walking this peaceful trail and soon arrived at our destination. Since bears may be active in this area, we were ready with our bear spray that we always carry with us.
