Poros (Greek: Πόρος) is a small Greek island-pair in the southern part of the Saronic Gulf, about 58 km (36 mi) (31 nautical miles) south from Piraeus and separated from the Peloponnese by a 200 m (656 ft) wide sea channel, with the town of Galatas on the mainland across the strait. Its surface area is about 31 square kilometres (12 sq mi) and it has 3,780 inhabitants. The ancient name of Poros was Pogon. Like other ports in the Saronic, it is a popular weekend destination for Athenian travellers.

We are a family run business since 1974 renting mopeds (scooters), Quad bikes (ATV's), mountain bikes, trekking bikes, city bikes and also electric e-bikes. We have 3 offices in Poros, the main one being in the resort of Askeli and also 2 offices in Poros Town near the cinema and the other new shop being near the Musuem.
Tony is a great guy and we had a lot og fun driving round Poros on his scooters. New and clean bikes that felt safe to drive. Lots of secluded beaches and bays to discover via a scooter.

The view from up there is amazing, especially at sunset, you are able to see mainland Greece as well as Poros and it's harbours from this point. Not too easy to find and the clock tower is currently under construction/ has green netting over it. Would recommend!

Reminds me of the Greece I found in the 80s. Flower filled streets, cute shops, waterfront tavernas, small beaches with pristine water. You have experienced Greece until you have taken a ferry, hired a scooter or met Greek hospitality. This os one of the best places to experience all.

Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, probably the clearest we’ve seen during our stay in Poros. Some rocks at the very beginning, then all sand. It’s one of the closest beach to the city center and the port, therefor you have to go quite early in the morning to find a good place. There are a couple of beach resorts with lots of umbrellas but not much space for free beach. Umbrella with 2 sunbeds for free but you have to take a drink for 3.50€ at least, one of the lowest prices in the island. The beach resorts restaurants have good quality food, even though not as a big choice as the tavernas in the city center, and higher prices.

I did not get into the water since I did not have time, but the water was clear and green. It is a very clean and nice beach and I promised myself to stay one night in Poros with my wife next time to enjoy it more. This is one of very rare places that I want to go back

Great sandy beach and crystal clear waters. Comfy sunbeds (€5 for 2 per day). Snack bar - cold beer and Tavoly board. What more could you ask for?

The temple of Posidon is situated on the northern part of Poros. There are onnly ruins now but it used to be a great temple in ancient times. This is the place where Dimosthenis killed himself.

Scenic beach, clear water, nice service (umbrella and chairs). One of the most beautiful beaches of Poros. Not to miss
