Pure wisdom, knowledge, kindness and honesty. I felt that I can trust him completely. After the opportunity to take an online course came... So I went for it and it was truly one of the best decisions. From experience i can say that The Ayurveda Therapist Course has the ability to improve lives. It has helped already so much! So holistic and explained in such interesting enjoyable way, that i just started to watch it again and again i am finding so many valuable things. Shammi also gives courses to those interested to learn, which are flexible and comprehensive.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our couple’s massage at Shami’s Holistic Ayurvedic Massage Centre. He was extremely hospitable, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. He met us on the street to make sure we didn’t get lost :) He had two of his talented staff assigned to each of us. He set us up in a warm room with bamboo walls, relaxing music, and the scent of essential oils. My Ayurvedic massage was the best massage I’ve ever had. My wife’s deep tissue massage was skillful, deeply therapeutic and personally tailored. We got tea and a nice chat with Shami when it was over. We highly recommend!

Grade: Moderate Mcleodganj to Triund 2800 mtrs, 9 kms gradual trek. The trek offer panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. The trek is moderate nature. Triund is a large land of green grass and pasture like. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes. This is the base camp and climatization point for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mt. Dhauladhar.
This was my first trek to Triund. Since I went on a weekday and not in season, it wasn't too crowded - which I liked. I loved the trek and the views. I stayed the night at the forest rest house - it's very basic, as basic as it can get, but does it's jobs - provides you shelter at night. The sunset was amazing, and so was the milky way (no pics) on the clear night sky. Few things to note: 1. Must start trek from Galu Devi temple between 7-11 am if you are returning the same day. Only stay option is Forest rest house (Google search 'ecotourism himachal', the first result is website, select Dharmshala and then Forest rest house). I was lucky to get accommodation booking on the same day. Read 'lucky'. 2. Must carry raincoat, torch and anything else that's typically suggested (remember there is no electricity at Triund). 3. If you love dogs, please carry some biscuits. They must be rewarded with treats as they guide you and keep up your motivation.

If you aren't ready for a tough hike, do take this day hike, an approx 2 hours 30 mins one way and is worth a visit. But avoid during monsoons s a part f the route always gets a heavy landslide and may not be worth a try. The temple is worshiped by the locals and the premises used for the related ceremonies
