Charnchai Muay Thai is a muay thai training camp in Pai North Thailand run by no.1 fighter Bee, Mongkoldech Sitthepitak. Learn muay thai with Bee and his expert team of Thai trainers, highly regarded as some of the best pad holders in Thailand. Beginners welcome! Training sessions run twice daily from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10am and 3pm to 5pm.
For 2 beginners this was an eventful 2 hour insight into the wonderful world of Muay Thai. We arrived at 7.45am and started to warm up by doing 20mins of skipping followed by some technical stuff in the mirror including setup, stance, jab, hook and kick. I have arch problems in my foot but this wasn't a problem as they let me wear my shoes while I trained. Next up was some 1on1 punching and kicking which was fun. Towards the end we done some group core work with all 40+ participants. The trainer's were really nice and patient with us throughout. For 350 baht each we got 2.5 hours of a solid workout. What more could we ask for. Great spot would definitely try it again. Tough.

Conserve Natural Forests (CNF) is a NonProfit charity foundation focused on forest restoration and wildlife conservation located outside of Pai, Northern Thailand. CNF has dedicated itself to restoring and enriching natural ecosystems through reforestation efforts as well as reproducing, rehabilitating and reintroducing endangered indigenous species populations to their native environment. A tour of our site maintains a balance between intimate time spent with endangered species on-site, the elephant(s) we are rehabilitating for release back into the wild, and education on the evolution of ecosystems and forest habitats in Thailand. Individuals who visit our site will leave with an intricate understanding of how elephants contribute to maintaining a healthy, bio-diverse ecosystem and how important it is to restore them to their natural environment to have successful reforestation efforts. Our organization maintains a focus on honesty and integrity in conjunction with our mission.
This was such a beautiful experience. Their main focus is planting trees to save our forests and environment. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable about the project and was able to answer any questions about reforestation and taking care of the pregnant elephant, Cami. The land is breathtaking, we crossed a river to watch the elephant eat tons and tons of trees in her natural habitat. My favorite part was planting a tree. It feels like a family, we were able to relax with some delicious passionfruit mojitos and home-cooked Northern Thai food :) I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine experience.

Piranha Park is situated 5 minutes from Mhor Peng waterfall and only 10 minutes from the town of Pai. To find us follow the signs from the Hospital, staying on the same road for approximately 7km, it's very well sign posted all the way so you should have no problems. The fishing park consists of 2 ponds and a family run guesthouse all set in a peaceful mountain side location.Get away and escape for a while and enjoy the peace and quiet. We are open 10am to 7pm daily for fishing. Delicious home cooked western and Thai food and the world famous Lasagne...plus the best full English breakfast in Pai..Night fishing is permitted if you are staying at the park. Fishing cost 200B for up to 3 hours and 500B for up to 8 hours plus bait.
Best accessible by scooter combined with the Chinese Village, this fishing hole is a great place to relax, have a beer, play with stumpy the dog and pull fish out of a pond! Some vegan-eating fish, some carnivorous, try different bait for different catches!

Amazing scenery and superb views. Be careful because there are some steep trails and the trails can be slippery after rain.

Nice gentle hike most of the way, one steep incline for ~10 minutes near the top, took about 2 and a half hours to get to the top, easy path to follow up along the river with many crossings of ankle deep water. Fun climb up along the side of the waterfall. Bear in mind there's no where to buy food/drink so best to carry your own. It rained on our way to the bottom and things did get a little slippery, all the more fun for us since it wasn't steep at that point. Not a difficult hike, would definitely recommend!

A great place to take a break when travelling along the Mae Hong Son Loop. The real market town has an incredibly real morning market with even a "halal" section catering to the muslim minority community which has been a part of this area for centuries. There's also an amazing night food market held thrice weekly along the main street which is simply an asian foodie's heaven. A must visit for this area....
