Phu Quoc Countryside – the perfect place to experience the real life of a farmer...in a Vietnamese environment.
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time with Pham at his organic pepper farm, first discovering the facilities and the different crops, then cooking Vietnamese meals ! Enriching conversations, delicious food and local beer, and shared culture !!!

Phu Quoc Gallery of Contemporary Art(GoCA) is the first modern art gallery to be developed on the largest island of Vietnam, situated in Ong Lang area. A complete cross section of modern industrial and contemporary flair, bringing together all social, artistic and cultural travellers. We inspire a sense of community showcasing Vietnamese contemporary art to the island and create a place where anyone can enjoy mindful art. GoCA premises is divided into two sections which are the art gallery working space and the open roof GoCA Art Bar serving you fusion cocktails, wine by glass and local brewery to support GoCA art gallery and the Vietnamese art community in Phu Quoc.
When you combine the incredible art, magnificent cocktails and beautiful hosts this place deserves nothing more than full marks. Every single little detail has clearly been considered: art books to flick through while sipping your cocktail, fantastic metalwork encasing the books and artwork(created by Peter’s, the main artist’s, very talented son) and excellent music and lighting design to complement the art on display and create this exciting, vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. Hiep and his lovely girlfriend, the cocktail mixologists, are real legends and their love for the different taste infusions means that they know exactly what works (and what doesn’t!) so when you create your OWN cocktail (another innovative feature of GOCA) it always tastes AMAZING! Peter’s art is exquisite and the longer you look at it the more you appreciate its beauty, and I am saying this as somebody who is terrible at art! They’re also very lovely, kind, incredibly hard working and forward thinking people so just take a seat and have a chat with them and learn a little more about their culture and ideas. Seriously, do not miss this place!

One of the best ways to learn about a new country during your journey is to explore local recipes, and there's no better way to become well-versed with a new cuisine than to make it yourself. Troc's kitchen and cooking class is their set of delicious recipes giving every learner the opportunity to taste and create a variety of staple Vietnamese dishes in half-day cooking.
During my 3-day stay on Phu Quoc island, I visited two classes at Troc's kitchen. I loved them both! During the first class i was the only student, so I got to chat with Troc the whole time. I really enjoyed that first class, where we made a lot of internationally known Vietnamese eats, including deep fried spring rolls with taro, carrot, and pork, noodle salad with pork (bun thit nuong?), Vietnamese rice pancakes, and caramelized fish. The dishes were ones that I will definitely make at home, because they were easy and not too time-intensive. This hasn't always been the case when I've done other cooking classes in Asia - in Thailand for instance we made red curry with duck, and while it was cool to make red curry paste by hand, the chances of me doing that on my own are relatively low, even though I love cooking. Troc's dishes, however, are practical and contained ingredients that I can definitely find at home. Now, that first class was fun, but while we were chatting, I mentioned to Troc that I had eaten mi quang in central Vietnam and really loved it. So he said that if I wanted to come back the next day for the evening class, we would make it as one of the dishes. WHAT!? Not wanting to miss a chance to learn to make this dish, I signed up. The class had only a few other students (Troc's classes are always small) but we all got to know each other and chat during the class. Plus, we made food that was even more amazing than our first class - fresh spring rolls, mi quang, nem nuong (lemongrass pork skewers), and braised pork with coconut water. This food was the best I had on Phu Quoc Island. Troc's class is definitely a great place to spend your time - good company and good food, and small classes. In both classes, Troc was a patient and kind teacher, and he is easy to understand and fun to talk with. All of the food was high-quality, and Troc definitely knows what he's doing. I cook a lot but I learned a few things about making coconut milk by hand and caramelizing fish, two things that I didn't know much about! The space is a open-air, so don't expect a/c, but it was comfy for the most part. It was also worth bringing mosquito repellent if the weather is rainy, as the skeeters tend to come inside. But overall the space was comfortable and pleasant to be in, and like I've already mentioned, the food was GREAT. Go cook with Troc - you won't be sorry!

Family atmosphere, We reserve our activity to French or Francophone customers only. We can not offer it to English-speaking customers because of lack of availability and staff. We are just over 10 minutes from downtown Duong Dong, eastbound and the village of Ham Ninh. Peppers, discoveries of other specialties of the island, and scooter rides. But also, nautical excursions by traditional boat or, by speed boat. Issuance of tickets for all kinds of attractions on the island, for children and parents. For much more details, check out our blog, or call us. Attention, annual closure, from 27/05 to 19/08/19.
This was just a twenty minute tour. Wonderful to see how everything is handpicked, dried and packed. Like stepping back in time. Remember Phu Quoc produces the best pepper in the world.

Visited here as pat of a TUI island tour and it was a nice calm place to visit away from the crowds, plenty of time to just quietly explore this temple, the views are good when at the top of steps, plenty of photo opportunities....just enjoy the tranquility. Recommended.

This beach is lovely. Is is beautiful and clean (for Vietnamese standard). The place is not polluted with too many bars and restaurants so ma kids had plenty of sand to run around and have fun. It is very interesting to see the sea live around the rocks but next time we will have our water shoes on so avoid getting hurt on the rocks. This beach is great for snorkel ????, to relax or even to swim in the clear water.
