Providing a respite to travelers trekking the north of Botswana, Gaborone is a young metropolis that experienced most of its boom with the discovery of diamonds in the 1970s. Its downtown is dominated by modern buildings and services, from glittering hotels to casinos. The Main Mall boasts a plethora of shops, while the surrounding area hosts monuments and government buildings. Monkeys and birds call out from the wetlands of Gaborone Game Reserve, and Kgale Hill delights with panoramic views.

Botswanacraft is the largest handcraft centre in Gaborone. We are also home to The Courtyard Restuarant @ Botswanacraft. And we are available for private hire for dinners, public music shows, conferences etc.
Great service, even better food! Love their local cuisine. Warm & super friendly staff, ask for Prudence! ????

Climb to the highest point in Gaborone and view the ever growing city from the top of Kgale Hill. Recommend parking at Game as it is more secure. Guided pathways to the top of the hill. Beware of thieves and baboons!
Hiked this awesome hill for the first time in August and I will definitely be frequenting it every chance I get. There is 2 ways to hike, through the paved road or the rocky steep path (most adventurous and exciting). The air and the view is amazing once you reach the top.

We went for an afternoon game drive. The driver/guide was awesome (Eddy). The animals were plentiful and it was good value. For a bonus, it's just a short drive on tar to get there. The staff generally are so friendly and awesome, I'll go back whenever I can!

We entered Khutse from the North traveling through the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. We were not planned to stay over, just a drive through. Well, we were disappointed that we did not book to stay over. Lots of game and the park is well runned. We did not see any other vehicles in the park. The camps are unfenced with long drops and bucket showers. We came across lots of Lion track's. We booked to explore Khutse in April-May and looking very much forward to the trip.

The site of different species of animals in the area. I saw zebras and others ????. I would really recommend this place while you in Gaborone. I feel you can to connect with nature, the quietness, the animals and its well taken care of. No litter around the place. I would love to go back for camping now ????. The entrance fees are reasonable as well
