This is the highest gorge in Europe and is an absolutely amazing drive. If you don't like heights or switchback roads go with caution, but the views are absolutely worth the drive up.

While you visit the Moustiers town, it's worth to walk up to cathedral on top to see magnificent from the above. It's not a difficult route but not recommended for someone has heart problem for this walk. Make sure you bring water, hat and comfortable shoes with you. The view is all worth of the hike.

A great hike up the BAOU, with sea view... On a sunny day you may start in the morning and you will be on the sunny side all along... Form the TOP, BREATHTAKING VIEW over the sea... The surroundings are also very very beautiful with a Rocky Nature with a few trees here and there... A great place to either test your heart or just enjoy life and a sandwitch in the middle of a clean nature... Great place to relax, meditate or simply enjoy the scenery !!! Have fun, and BREATHE...

This little town is great place for a day visit in South of France, not far from Marseille, it offers beautiful scenery, peaceful, a charm of history. Takes your time to walk around the town, enjoy the nature, visit local shops, they have all varieties of mountain herbs (precious gift for home-cooking), saucisson, pottery.

The receptionist is a lovely knowledgeable lady, who hesitated before asking if I was over 60 so I could have a reduction in price, which tickled me. she also looked at a plate I had brought with me and told me it’s provenance. A good museum. Well laid out.
