Collingwood is more than just a neighbor of Blue Mountain Ski resort. This town on Nottawasaga Bay has its own delights to discover, from historic homes to parks and trails, a marine heritage museum, and its own annual Elvis Festival.

This is a wonderful place to sit and relax in or quietly walk through. All the plants, trees, water features, benches, etc. have been dedicated by families to people who have passed away over the years.

Theatre Collingwood presents live, professional theatre at The Historic Gayety Theatre in Collingwood. Our theatre company provides entertaining summer theatre from May to September, as well as one-night-only shows throughout the year. The Box Office (104-115 Hurontario Street) is NOT located at the theatre. Many local restaurants give discounts when you show your tickets to our shows. The theatre is climate controlled and wheel chair accessible. Collingwood is nestled in beautiful South Georgian Bay, where there are unlimited things to see and do. 15 minutes from Blue Mountain. Let us help you to put more PLAY in your life!

2016 Canadian Brewery of the Year. We brew award winning craft beer that is both wonderfully complex and highly drinkable. Our current offerings include a Bavarian style Wheat Ale, a Canadian Pale Ale, Dark Lager (Munich Dunkel), & Mountain Lager (Helles). Our retail store and tasting bar are open 7 days a week. Tours of the brewery are available on weekends only. We look forward to seeing you!
The size of the facility was very surprising to us. For being a small town craft brewery, it is absolutely huge, bright and clean with huge windows showing off the sparkling stainless brewing tanks and machinery. Also, my fondness for the beer brewed there, particularly the wheat beer, made it a destination. We sat outside in a designated patio area where large heaters were supplied at our picnic table, music was provided and we enjoyed our time there very much. The only disappointment was in anticipating something about the history of the brewery, particularly about the name and how it came to represent the beer.

Since retiring to Collingwood in 2016, it has been one of my greatest pleasures to daily cycle the beautiful landscapes along the Georgian Trail and its many interesting side trails from mountain to shoreline. Nature 's welcome embraces you at every turn. Some days I peddle across town to Sunset Park via the shoreline trails, past the Inushtuk to stop a while and sit on one of the numerous benches with a delicious ice cream from the on site ice cream vendor. Other trips have included rides to Thornbury to the west with stops along the way such as taking g in the history of the area thanks to the Heritage Museum at Craigleith, to snap photos along the way and challenge these aging knees with a gradual grade incline and wind resistance past Georgian Peaks. There is always something interesting to explore and e experience along the trails but if I told you then that may rib you of some of your joy in the discovering. Welcome to Collingwood , Thornbury area along the wonderfull Georgian Trail it's yours to discover! Enjoy and please be respectful to leave nothing behind but your gratitude????
