Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.
Skip the tour guides and proceed to the route , plenty of signs so you can’t miss it , ticket costs 20,000 per person , Nice and easy route to waterfall which takes about 15 minutes, enjoy the view

This is a really nice walk, not too long, not too wet, despite recent rains, not to treacherous. You will need to cross one stream. I was very happy to have done this. There was a 20,000 rupiah fee to enter. A lady trying to rent sarongs saying it is necessary, also. I had one on. About 1/3 of the way there, is Gede’s Warung in the Jungle with incredible local chocolates - healthy and delicious!

Loved this majestic monastery complex, perched high up in the hills. Partly damaged by earthquakes in the mid '70's, it is now part sparkly new and pristine, and part comfortably old and worn. Part of the new additions include a representation of Buddha under a Bodhe tree, and 2 pagodas destroyed by the earthquake. You can stay here and attend classes. A meditation class was in progress the day we visited, which meant the vibe was wonderfully quiet and respectful. Magical place. I loved it.

Very nice for diving, many fish, beautiful corals and big spounges. We went there with very nice local fishing boats. The atmosphere is very privat.

Absolutely worth travelling to Pemuteran just to snorkel / dive over the Biorock. It’s very easy to access - only a minute swim from the lovely relaxing beach - and shallow enough for great vis of all the reef creatures.

Taking the road that passes by "Terrace du Lac", and then turning left onto a street that continues down to the lake (although it's not a proper street until the very end) , I drove down to this incredibly beautiful little lake. There were a couple of locals fishing, pick-nicking, or cutting grass for their cows, but no one else. The place is very peaceful, with and old temple next to the lake, and lots of old wooden boats, jetties, a swing built over the water, and rafts out on the lake, on which people take their wedding pictures. (I saw an add for those at the kiosk). I tried following the path along the lake shore, but it was too muddy, in the middle of the rainy season. I highly recommend this place for anyone who likes to get away from mainstream tourism, probably one of the most beautiful spots I've discovered in Bali.
