Take a three hour tour of Bodega Bay on our 33' sailboat. A licensed boat captain takes you from the Harbor out to the Bay and then the open ocean. All ages welcome, everyone wears a life jacket - fun! Due to Covid - 19 precautions we are charging by the boat -

Charter fishing and other ocean excursions along the Sonoma coastline aboard the beautiful 30 foot Grady White 305 Express "Take Five"
THIS OUTFIT ROCKS...! IF YOU WANT an incredible experience and fish in the box, Go with these guys...! Locals that know their stuff, Hardened and experienced. Seasoned fisherman will be satisfied beyond doubt with their knowledge and drive to pull for you to the last minute to fill the box under any conditions as they did for us! With their Love for fishing, Josh and Peter, will cordially teach newbies to be expert Salmon Slayers and Affeciandos by the end of the trip! After years of consistent fishing with many boats here and in SF, my wife and I were totally impressed with them providing a huge bag of ice to preserve our bounty of limits for our return trip home! In 45 years of fishing for salmon, nobody has ever provided that for us! Extremely impressive and caring on their part! If you want a GREAT TIME and a memorable experience, then you will not be disappointed fishing with Josh and Pete. Go for it.. Life is short especially in these weird times. The only problem you will have is that they are so popular that they can take a limited number of people at a time and they don't get very many cancellations. Took me a year to get to fish with this bunch and every minute with them was worth it!

A rugged and recommended whale-watching promontory along the California coast.
It’s an easy hike along the top of cliffs with beautiful views of Bodega Bay, the coastline and the tip of Point Reyes Seashore. You need to stop and enjoy the views, there are seals(?) on rocks offshore and swimming, deer grazing and lots of birds. We visited on a windy day and the wind watery strong. Not a hike to rush through, you need to linger.

Challenging windsurfing beach located in Bodega Bay.
This is a great beach. It is easily accessible and gives a great view of Bodega Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding landscape. The beach is long and the waves are pretty gentle. You can bring your dog, you can surf, or you can just stroll along the flat sand.

A charming bell tower tribute to a 7 year old boy's untimely death in Italy. A touching story of how his organ donation helped four other children live. Sculpture was done by San Francisco sculptor Bruce Hasson, a good friend's son.

For those of you who are fans of Hitchcock’s The Birds, the school which appears in the movie looks just the same as it did back in the 60’s. It’s a private residence now but they’ve maintained the exterior well. It gave me chills.

Sonoma Coast Vineyards handcrafts wines from a unique cold-climate growing area west of the Russian River Valley and a mere five miles from the Pacific Ocean. We invite you to learn more about our wines, our vineyards, and the Sonoma Coast. Join us for a flight of limited-production wines in the tasting room, or seated outside on our patio, taking in the bay views. Make a reservation and indulge in a seated wine tasting and pair with locally-sourced gourmet cheeses.
The most beautiful place to stop for a bottle of wine on Hwy 1 while in Bodega Bay. The young ladies serving that day were knowledgeable about their wines. We decided on a bottle but they also shared a few tastings with us of their other selections. I liked the Red Wine Blend from Bisordi Vinyard. The pinot was pleasant, I believe that was from Peterson Vineyards. Stop by and have a bottle and enjoy the cool breezes of Bodega Bay.

A landmark from an Alfred Hitchcock film.
If you’re a Hitchcock fan, you’ll love visiting this place. We went to San Francisco in the early 90’s and took a rented car straight north through Marin County and just kept going. We stopped for BBQ oysters just outside of Bodega and then found the schoolhouse. We had no navigation or GPS, just a big map from the gas station.

Had a good time at Westside stayed for 5 days . The fresh crabs sold down the street were delish. Great hiking trails nearby . Its dry camping , but water and a dump station were available I'm glad they have cut off times for generators as some people would run them all day and night. I did have to remind them to refill the doggie bags but they were re-filled an hour or so later. will definitely be back for more crab before the season is out.
