Chlebowy Bridge is one of the most interesting bridges in Gdansk and was built in the years 1338-56. The bridge over the canal of Radunia offers a beautiful view of the Great Mill and the church of St. Catherine. This bridge is also called a Love Bridge, because of the love padlocks hanging there. The number of padlocks is impressive, and the bridge on which they are hung is not so big. The well-kept area encourages you to relax . A bit off the beaten track from the main attractions of the old town, and thus even more atmospheric. A charming bridge over one of the canals in Gdansk.

After a few days in relatively expensive discomfort in a sweatbox in Redlowo (Studio Redlowo Rybki) and some dodgy food (Browar PG4 obcurely asking about "the salad" after I'd eaten some chicken wings), it was a relief to visit Tczew to see its murals, pop into the Wistly Museum and lounge by the Vistula at sunset. Now, if only the food there was equal to all that.

We used the drawbridge several times to reach the East Prussian Castle, where the yearly battle scene was to be reenacted. We enjoyed the surroundings, the atmosphere, as well as the food around the area. There is a rope par nearby. It you have kids, don't miss on it.
