A local brewery owned and operated by a group of great friends serving up great beers! The Blood Orange Kolsch, the Cold Brew Mocha Porter, and the IPA are always on tap, and they can be found in many restaurants within the surrounding areas. Be sure to check out the webpage for upcoming events and food truck schedules. See you soon!
We visited on a weekend with 2 other couples and this place is always good. Not loud so you can converse and have a good beer. Very pet friendly so we normally take our pup. I have not tried the on-site food/restaurant yet. They usually have a food truck or 2 on the weekends. Great selection of their local brews as well as a few others. Parking can be scarce at times but I recommend that you stop in for a cold one.

Great beer, friendly staff, perfect pours. In a market flooded with craft beer, Mother Earth stands out. Make sure you try the seasonal and the barrel aged brews!

Flytrap Brewing is a neighborhood brewery and tap-room located in the Brooklyn Arts District of Historic Downtown Wilmington. Specializing in American and Belgian style ales, Flytrap's small batch brews are guaranteed to be at the peak of freshness.
I came by here at 7:57 PM and despite the fact that they close at 8 PM they let me have a much needed beer. Staff were extremely friendly and kind and their selection was impressive. There was even a food truck. I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in town.

We've enjoyed Duck-Rabbit products from our grocery for years. Finally made a little detour off the highway to visit the place. Had a terrific stop. As dark beer fans, this place is perfect for us. A basic brewery with super friendly staff. With COVID they're serving outdoors, which is ideal. Had 4 or 5 brews on tap. Not all are available in bottles or cans at the brewery. Great couple of hour stop in the afternoon.

Great food - nice lunch spot. From the Rueben to the Shrimp & Grits, the food was excellent, service was great, and. A good value. Will put the Front Street Brewery on the 'must return to' list.

While dining in Wilmington, I wanted to order an IPA. I had not before heard of the Wilmington Brewing Company but decided to give their Tropical Lightening IPA--which nicely blends hops and citrus flavors--a try. I'm so glad I did. In fact, it was so good, I wanted to take some home. (The brewery limits its distribution to NC right now.) I visited their business on Kerr Avenue which has both a taproom and a small store. I was able to purchase the Tropical Lightening in four-packs of pint-sized cans. If you like to try new craft brews, I recommend you find a Wilmington restaurant with this on tap or you visit the Wilmington Brewing Company's home. Because I had a drive ahead of me, I did not sample any of their other beer while I was there, but I hope to go back to do so!

Local veteran owned and operated microbrewery located near the Cape Fear River just under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge. Free parking, flights, live music and food trucks on weekends. Check our website for current hours and events!
We came here as part of the brew bus tour but this place was the star of the show when it came to breweries! The owner gave a great lesson about the general brewing process and then about their equipment. He is retired air force with a cool background in homebrewing. He was a home brewer before it became a trend and as a result his beer has a solid foundation. The Kolsch is their most popular (it’s a solid brew, and a good way to honor the time the owner spent in Germany). He also has some experimental styles (a strawberry rhubarb on tap and we tried a light colored coffee beer that uses local cold brew in the recipe). The staff was friendly and accommodating even though there was an event going on at the same time for a large group. There was a food truck too- I love when breweries pair up with local food trucks! Check this place out if you are looking for a fun brewery in a historic building in Wilmington!
