If you visit the Mara River in the Serengeti NP at the right time of year when the Migration is in the vicinity you might be fortunate enough to see the Wildebeest crossing the river, this is one of the highlights of any wildlife enthusiasts list of things to see, there are of course other animals to see around the river and it is a super place to visit.

Chole bay is the part of Mafia island marine park from here you do snorkeling and diving is the one of best place for divers
The only negative about the snorkels here is they're reached by boat, not much from shore. But we stayed at Kinasi Lodge and they had regular trips with good guides that would meet you with the boat if the current was swift, some of our best snorkels were drifting with a strong current and the boat picking us up, but we also enjoyed watching the octopus near the rocks and the sheltered slow snorkels there. Very excellent snorkeling & we've snorkeled the world-over. Not very crowded, we highly recommend Mafia Island, Kinasi Lodge, and Chole Bay!

It is a nice experience to view the Hippos and crocodile from the top of the bridge and it is so funny to have great photos of the migration when they made their crossing through .. I love the western corridor

This place is so beautiful and scenic, it's on the way towards Moshi from Arusha in the middle, from highway you take a rough road heading to this lil paradise. The water is clear, warm and surrounded by trees.. Best place to get a dip into water and relax yourself.. Bonus: you get a free pedicure as the tiny lil fish come towards you to clean the dead skin away from you.. (you don't need to spend alot of money ???? on fish spa) - it's safe.. Worry out!! Perfect way to go on a day trip, advise you to head on morning to afternoon to enjoy the place without the place getting too crowded.

James met us at the train station and set up a hike with our children to the crater lake. The lake was fantastic, and James was an excellent guide, fair, friendly and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend going with him. Phone number is in another review on this site.

This was our first safari on our visit to Tanzania - a small game park (by Tanzanian standards) in the Rift valley but lots to see - Storks and pelicans in the trees at the entrance and we saw numerous elephants, baboons, giraffe, impala, buffalo and zebra - additionally the bird life is superb- the lake has loads of flamingoes - took a whole morning - really good
