This unique Cottage had water views to die for , we had our 2 grand children and they were in their ore with everything the had to occupy their needs for 4 days , there was a pool to swim in , bush walks at the back door , an abundance of wildlife ,a wharf at the front door for the boat or fishing even a lovely Labrador Dog from the next door neighbour made us feel welcome . Although this cottage was built in the 1930's it has all the modern pros and cons to make the stay special . Thank you Luxury Afloat for all your hospitality and lovely time, we have already recommended you to friends and family for future stays as well as we will be making another booking in the very near future .

We enjoyed the hospitality of the Jindabyne parkrun with impressive views over Lake Jindabyne. This parkrun is very popular with tourists and the local volunteers do a great job in organising the event. This is an impressive body of water and offers a range of water sports. The bird life around the lake is also abundant. Thanks for your vote.

The people of Orange are so lucky to have such a glorious amenity on their doorstep. I strongly suggest walking around the lake in a counter-clockwise direction. After strolling through the forest, you'll end up at the high point of the circumnavigation, the dam wall, with its unbeatable views on all sides.

Coming from Sydney with little kids Lake Macquarie is a perfect place. Travel time for less than 2hours is a definitely a plus. Fishing, picnic area, local hotels, cafes, shopping centres, playgrounds. Countless beautiful spots, jetties and foreshore surrounding the beautiful lake. Definitely one our fave place in nsw. Plus beach on the other side- caves beach and blacksmith beach - awesome!

Kind of the NSW roadblock to allow us diseased “Mexicans” to access the north side of Lake Hume dam wall. A beautiful and peaceful spot. Grassed areas, huge wall, spillway in action and educational engineering sign on hydro power generation. Did some fishing below wall in Murray and above lake (no luck, fish won the day).
