With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

Caught fish, some areas were catch and release. Very pretty areas. You can either buy the State Park pass, pay a day use price or park on a pull-out.

It was so surprising to see the color GREEN on this King's Palace tour! The tour we took to see this was guided by a ranger and he explained about why it was green. I cannot remember now, but it's definitely worth taking the King's Palace tour. You don't see this in the Big Room.
