Located near Jumunjin beach, you will be impressed by the stunning view of ocean view and rocks of fantastic shape here at Sodol Adeulbawi Park. On the north side of the hill in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, you can see rocks and strangely bizarre rocks naturally carved in by the wind and waves in shapes of elephants, etc… The main rock in the place, the Sodol Rock was formed 150 Million years ago

There are no buses to get to this lake. But from the inter-city bus terminal, you can take a taxi or take a 10 minute walk (ask for directions from the tourist information centre at the inter-city bus terminal) to get to the southern most part of the lake, and another 25 minutes walk from the southern part to get to Beom-Bawi Rock on the southwestern part of the lake. This Rock is considered one of the 8 scenic spots in Sokcho. Overall, it's a nice, quiet walk around the lake overlooking a tranquil lake and surrounding areas. There are locals jogging around the lake, and some parts of the perimeter allow for cars to drive in as well. The best views of the lake are the views of the western part of the lake, where the mountain range is in the background.
