One of the places we will explore is a narrow part of the river on the Russian side. We will experience contrasts between Russia and Norway - the Russian city Nikel on the one side and the Norwegian settling on the other side of the border. Further up the river we will visit the husky farm BIRK in Melkefoss, where we will be served lunch made of the local ingredients and visit the huskys before heading back to Svanvik.
