We participated in this tour in October, 2019 (before the virus). We bought this excursion package aboard our Princess cruise through the Mexican Riviera. We hopped on a large air-conditioned bus that took us to the Boardwalk. We all got to take pictures, but everything was very rushed. We were able to get off the bus at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Church, which is SO beautiful, but our tour guide got upset because some of us were taking too long in the church. We weren't there for 10 minutes, and were rushed out. I think the driver must be friends at the silver jewelry shop, as we stopped there for about an HOUR. We were given a small amount of punch (I think it had alcohol in it). I would have loved to have spent more time walking around or visiting other stores. The tequila factory was interesting, but it is far away from everything, and we felt forced to purchase food at the outdoor restaurant that was attached to the same property. It took forever to get our food, and when we got ours they messed up the order so they had to remake it. We got our food just as our bus was leaving, so had to eat it on the bus. All in all, we will never do this excursion again, and I think people need to know that they'll be spending so much time at one silver shop and at the tequila factory/restaurant.

If you are looking for a stuffy, rigid tour with only historical info and no personality...this isn’t for you :). My bride and I LOVED Gonzalo and the entire tour - after the first stop, it was like we were hanging out w an old friend - one that knows the island like the back of his hand. All in all...great time and a must do when spending some time on the island. BTW - if you like fish tacos...you’ll have some of the best you’ve ever had on this tour. Just sayin :) Have fun!!!

We had an awesome time on this tour. Mario was amazing. From the initial booking to the actual tour, he took care of all the details, answered my many questions and kept all of us on track during the tour. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this company. We enjoyed 3 wineries plus lunch. We felt safe the entire time and would definitely do this again.

My husband and I went whale watching with Salty Cabo and Roland was our guide. We went on Easter morning 2021 and what a gift! First we were the only two on the tour, so not only were we treated to a beautiful tour on a calm sea but within 15 minutes we got a wildlife show that was spectacular. A baby whale(but huge) gave us a show that will mark this trip forever. Roland is so knowledgeable and so eco cautious, we couldn’t be more happy with this experience. We even got a chance to listen to them communicating under the sea. And Roland’s tour is the only one out of San Jose Del Cabo. So you are not chasing whales and boats just out there alone with nature. When we got back to his office he gave us all of the pictures from our tour. Thank you Roland

We booked this tour based on it's itinerary and reviews. We do enjoy an occasional private tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel. Veronica was our guide and was amazing. We went to a flower market before getting on the floating boat. The ride was lovely. Veronica told us a lot about the city it's history and culture. We went to the Diego Rivera museum which is amazing. Then to the Coyocan market where we grabbed a bite to eat and have some free time. Then the Frida Kahlo museum which is a must see. The driver was excellent, smoothly guiding us around the city. We also stopped at the University which wads fascinating. Veronica is very proud of her city and it shows. Her energy and enthusiasm were palpable. The price for what you get is a real bargain. Highly recommend

Our guide Sasha took us to four of his favorite taco places around Cancun and gave us a little history of the area. At each place we got a different type of taco and a drink. Afterward, we went to a local park with a street fair where we are churros and looked at the booths. It was a pleasant three and a half hours. Highly recommended if you want to sample what the locals eat.
