Guest house in the heart of our vineyard. Discover old stones and delicious wines from the property. You can take dinner at "Table du Domaine" with regional cooking. Breakfast with regionals meals. Welcome at the cellars and tasting wines.
This small hotel/guesthouse is situated in a small village about 10 km south of Auxerre in Bourgogne. It is a good base for exploring the villages and wines of Bourgogne, close to places like Chablis but not as pricy and much more quiet. Rooms are rather small but quite OK. There is also a pool and a terrace. They serve a traditional french breakfast and also dinner which you have to book in advance the same day. Nice and friendly people. They produce their own wines and have a large cellar that can be visited, under the house. Wines are for sale in the cellar and also available in an "honesty bar" in the dining room. Walking distance to a Roman archeological site. You need a car or bike to get around to other restaurants and sights.

We stayed here as a group of 6 the night before our riverboat holiday from Migennes and wished we could have stayed longer. A gorgeously renovated property with very comfortable and individually styled rooms. Janik was a fantastic host and made us feel very comfortable and made us a lovely breakfast with home produce. Would be a great base to visit the vineyards for Burgundy.

Crowning a hill in the renowned winemaking region of Burgundy, Château de la Resle has the charm and personality of a well-loved private home. The six elegant rooms and suites are taken care of by Dutchmen Johan Bouman and Pieter Franssens, who invite guests to share the French, ivy-wrapped manor house they painstakingly restored. Adding to the feeling of romance and exclusivity is Johan and Pieter’s personal collection of contemporary art and design, which attracts fellow connoisseurs from around the world. From the château, which sits on the edge of an 800-hectare hunting forest, there are bucolic views down the valley of Montigny la Resle. The wine village of Chablis – that gives its name to one of the most famous white wines in France – is also just a short drive away. Exploring the area is a delight, but guests are equally happy to unwind at the château’s spa, soak in the azure pool, or relax by a sizzling open fire with a glass of the château’s own Chablis.
it is a wonderful hotel ... but you have to do what the owner says ! Am I in holiday or in army ? If you smoke, it is very difficult to smoke even if you are outdoors! The owner was disturbed. The breakfasts are good..the hotel is nicely furnished..but they are not polite at all.

We stayed with our two young children in the large room at the top of the house. The room was very spacious, clean quiet and had a large bathroom. Jerome was a wonderfully warm host and a lovely guy to chat to. Breakfast consisted of croissants, fresh bread and homemade jam and apple juice. A friendly cat completed the scene. A great experience! Would highly recommend.

Our bed and breakfast is located in an abbey of the 12th century. Gorgeous and peaceful, you will love to stop here to relax and rest.
Once again, we were warmly received by the friendly team at the Abbaye. The Cottage was very comfortable, including its superlative beds, and we even built a fire in the beautiful fireplace. The peaceful grounds were as welcoming as ever, and our check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Highly recommended!

The host was very friendly and spoke good english. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was a queen and the grounds were well presented. The host cooked dinner and provided wine for a price which was just okay. Met some great French people over dinner. A nice small town. Worth staying here.

Hotel 39 rooms with private parking, located near the vineyards of Chablis. Our restaurant "L'Auberge la Beursaudière" 800 m from the hotel, will offer a pleasant change of scenery with its gourmet and local cuisine as well as regional costume on.
Very pleasant hotel for a one night stay, well placed, close to good road network and a good base for visiting the area. Our room was very comfortable, although the shower left a bit to be deisred and there was just about enough choice for breakfast. Would definitely consider staying here again, if in the area.

The Domaine de l'Ocrerie© is nestled in Burgundy, in the village of Pourrain between Toucy and Auxerre. In the heart of the country of the writer Colette, it is surrounded by green countryside, ponds and charming villages, the castles of Guedelon, Saint-Fargeau, Ratilly, Vezelay and the vineyards of Chablis & Irancy... This heritage estate is steeped in history : around 1750 the owner of the property opened a quarry on the site to extract the yellow ocher, used as pigments for oil painting. In the 60's the house was purchased by a French pop star. Today, this old building is experiencing a new lease of life with its gallery-style guest rooms, its park and its workshops. Treat yourself to a stay in this spacious and refined building, which we hope will both charm and surprise you. Welcome to the Domaine de l'Ocrerie in Burgundy!
From first setting foot in this idyllic spot to waving goodbye to our welcoming hosts Cathy and Giles, we had a wonderful time. Set in expansive gardens, this tastefully converted house boasts exposed stone walls, high ceilings and wooden beams. The spacious interior has been thoughtfully decorated with the hosts’ personal touch reflecting their artistic background & their exotic travels to the East. We stayed in the charming ‘Pondicherie’ suite with its four poster bed & well equipped shower room. Preceded by a glass of kir & savory ‘gougères’, we had a memorable 4 course diner in the gardens accompanied by a local burgundy red. Each dish was beautifully presented. Breakfast was also very pleasing. Thank you Cathy and Giles?

Charming guest rooms and B&B suites By the countryside near Auxerre In the Yonne area, Burgundy.
My 9 year old thinks this is “the best hotel ever!” He says “it’s like we are friends not guests”. Four dogs, goats, sheep, chickens - and a rooster - it’s a veritable petting zoo. We had a wonderful stay here with Stephane and Marilynne. Very clean and charming accommodations and “best meals” according to my son. The pool is lovely and there is a bonus wine cellar with local, reasonably priced wines.

We stayed 6 nights at this B&B and had a superb holiday: great breakfast, lovely garden, enjoyable swimming pool, great tips on restaurants or places to visit and a very great reception by the owners Brigitte and Gilles. The location is also great as there are lots of interesting things to see in the neighbourhood.
