We stay here every year and have been for several years now. The owner and staff are always accommodating. We stayed at one of their cabins this year and loved it. It had beautiful views of the mountains and river. We are staying there again next year. The rooms at the motel are very

Built of century old timbers, our European-style hotel is run for, and by, people who share a passion for the mountains. A luxurious 22- room inn with an informal atmosphere,we pride ourselves on our personal service, great food and wine, and inviting rooms. Start your day in our sunny dining room with local coffee and breakfast prepared with regional and organic ingredients by our chef each morning. Enjoy a short walk or hop on our complimentary bicycles to downtown Jackson's dining and shopping. After a day of adventure, renew with a massage in the Little Spa. Stop by the Viking Bar for craft beer or wine overlooking our perennial gardens. The Alpine House is the perfect place to begin your adventures. A regular bus services the ski slopes in winter and we provide guided climbs and ski tours. Family-run by Hans and Nancy Johnstone for 25 years, our lodge is eco-certified, with handcrafted bath botanicals and our own sustainable garden.
We chose this place for its proximity to downtown Jackson Hole. Easy walk to pretty much everything in town. Our room was on the second floor and getting all of our luggage up the stairs is something I wouldn't want to do again. There are many steps to the second floor! The rooms are on the small side and there's no fridge which was inconvenient as we are travelling and had to throw everything out. One huge inconvenience is the bathroom sink. Super small with virtually no counter space or shelves other than a shelf way under the sink. This is so easily remedied but they chose to put a modern bowl sink and so we had to juggle our toiletries constantly. Beds and linens are very comfy! Our room was made up twice and the towels and floor mat were taken but not replaced. There is coffee and refreshments available but twice it was cookies that were like hockey pucks - hard and burnt. I took one bite and threw the rest away. They also offer apple and oranges. The breakfast is very very good. And the breakfast area is very nicely arranged with cloth tablecloths. Very upscale! Every day they had large warm ham and cheese croissants ready to go if you are in a hurry. Lots of other choices - sweet breads, granola, fruit etc. The omelette chefs vary and the omelettes vary as well. The first day my husband RAVED about his omelette. The next day there was a different chef and his omelette was runny with way too much cheese. If I was younger I'd stay here again!

We were on our way to Yellowstone and booked this B&B. We had a very nice room with large tub and fireplace. We didn't use either, but the room overall was large and very nice. In the evenings they offered a happy hour with wine and beer complimentary and they hosted it. The next morning they served us a wonderful breakfast of quiche, blueberry muffin, and fruit. They served us coffee and juice. It was all very personal and served with real plates and silverware. It felt more like eating at a neighbors than a hotel. I think the one word that characterizes this place would be "Personal". A pretty rare find in the day of chain hotels and poor service.

Hotel was in a terrific location, brand new, staff was wonderful, especially Matt at the valet. They had a nice breakfast buffet with upgrades available. Hotel was sparkling clean. I could walk to great restaurants and shops. Cool bar upstairs too. I'll be back, thanks!

The Geyser Inn is now open to the public. Our rooms are spacious and smoke free. Free continental breakfast with homemade oatmeal and rice soup and other variety. Friendly and helpful customer service staff available to assist you to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
stayed here overnight and found the place very satisfactory but no frills. except TV channel selection was great. Breakfast was continental but lackluster. Waffle machine. Close to park entrance and walk to restaurants and shops. Might be better options but pricy.

Our unique log lodge stands at the base of the Beartooth Highway! Sit on the deck and enjoy the mountain views, or soak in the outdoor hot tub while viewing the stars. Full family style breakfast is served between 8-9am.
Nice, attractive B&B run by an attentive Debbie. She catered to our needs and desires for breakfast had had lots of options we didn’t exercise, but could have (hot tub, outdoor guest areas, etc.) The room had a great view (There isn’t a bad view there.) and a couch facing a large window for reading. That could have been done in the great room below, too.

We booked this motel per chance and were pleasantly surprised! It has a 1960's vibe with all the modern necessities travelers expect in todays world. Very competent front desk gal named Christy. Clean and comfy rooms, with wonderful beds, linens and updated bathroom. Grab & Go breakfast available, due to Covid, the darling dining room was closed. The only draw back was the noise of the in room mounted air conditioner, however I bring a white noise machine whenever I travel which helped with this slight issue. At least the room was nice and cool, plus had a convenient ceiling fan!

Cooke City is situated in the Beartooth Absaroka mountains. Accessible via Montana Hwy 212 Beartooth Scenic Highway, Chief Joseph Scenic Hwy 296 and Yellowstone National Park. Soda Butte Lodge is located on Main Street in the center of town. Our 32 guest rooms are located on two floors of the motel. We are also, the only full service motel in Cooke City with 3-meal restaurant and sports bar full liquor. The large lobby is a great place to relax, by the fireplace or by the windows to "people watch", play cards, read or visit with friends. We are just 3 1/2 miles from the north east entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the infamous Lamar Valley where "wolf watching" is very popular. The area is ideal for wildlife viewing, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, 4 wheeling and many photo-ops. Winter in Cooke City is unlike no other. Extreme snowmobiling, snowboarding and cross country skiing at its' finest. Winter, the lodge, is only accessible through Yellowstone Park (Mammoth) or drive over Chief Joseph to Pilot Creek parking lot and snowmobile in the last 9 miles. Our area is rich in the things money can't buy: history, beauty, wildlife and hospitality.
The hotel was outdated. The rooms had new furniture and nice beds but the carpet was old and stained. The hallways were in major need of painting. The lobby was dark and furniture looked old. There is an odd smell when you walk into the lobby. We did not want to eat there. The owners were very courteous.

Newly built motel sits right next to the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Walking distance to many other tourist attractions in town such as Yellowstone Area Adventures and Grizzly&Wolf discover center. Free WiFi and Parking, oriental decoration!
Tao's Inn is in a quiet area close to everything in West Yellowstone. The room was attractive and spotlessly clean. As other reviews have mentioned, it is definitely a bit cramped for a family of four, but we weren't there very much because we were always in the park. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool on warm days. There is no laundry in the building, but I recommend Little Ducklings Laundry, right around the corner. You can do your own laundry there, or drop off/ pick up. There was no space in the room for eating, but there is a little table with some chairs on the grassy area outside the rooms. There's also a hammock right next to that, if you want some outdoor relaxation. We found the property to be quiet and peaceful at all times of day. Tao's Inn was a great base for exploring Yellowstone. We'd get up early, pick up pre-ordered lunches at Ernie's, and be into the park in no time. The location was perfect for us-- away from the noise and bustle of the center of West Yellowstone, but so close to the park entrance and anything we needed. Parking was included, and was right next to the building. We would stay here again.

Our 3 room inn and cabin rental is located 3 miles south of charming downtown Red Lodge, Montana. Nestled in the beautiful pines of Haywood Gulch. With seclusion and beautiful views of the Beartooth Mountains.
We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at the Two Bears Inn. We marveled at the clever décor and attention to detail throughout the property. The breakfast was delightful. Many quiet corners to sit both inside and out. A short trail behind the main house leads to a quiet vantage of the valley.
