Nice Guest house. Had asked for a quiet room at the back of the house but was given a front facing one. When I went to get it sorted I was told the previous guest had extended their stay. I wasn't best pleased but had no alternative but to accept the room. However two minutes later there was a knock at the door and a staff member called Callum said that he could swap us with someone else who hadn't checked in yet. Callum was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was of an adequate size and the bed was comfortable. Only niggles were the shower had to be quite low to get any hot water/ pressure and the window could do with either the blind being a blackout one or some additional curtains. Cooked breakfast was lovely and fresh and they offered vegetarian/ gluten free options.Good selection of cooked food but would have liked some fruit as an option as I don't do cooked. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price.

This is the second time we have stayed in this fabulous guest house, it’s lovely and bright, good set up for families with the 4 of us in one big room with plenty of space. There is a new park right outside and the beach is a stones throw away. Would definitely recommend staying here, the hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, the breakfast was delicious :)

Stayed whilst walking Hadrian’s Wall as a group. Great beers in the bar and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. The gammon was really good. The accommodation in the adjacent buildings was a little basic, and needed a bit of love, but was comfy and fine for one night.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed straight away and staff gave us all the information we needed - no need to ask any questions. Then we got into our room, nice and clean, bathrooms and beds tidy. ( we actually got moved into a sea view room and same kind of lay out but much more elegant. once again loved this room as well) We had breakfast at 8 and literally bang on not too little not too much and everything was cooked perfectly. Overall, would happily come here again and would recommend to literally anyone or any families.
