Woodford Bridge Country Club is a 4* Hotel in Devon's Countryside. Its self-catering accommodation, spa and family facilities provide a relaxing break for couples and families.
We have paid a good deal of money to be members of Diamond Resorts and also pay for annual fees. Allowing for Covid impact, we would like to enjoy the dame level of good service we have enjoyed overseas this year. All that aside Woodford Bridge is a pleasant and relaxing resort . Our lodge was comfortable and well equipped if a little tired. We like the resort but even before Covid the overall experience has dipped. We are hoping that from 2022 the service levels improve. Even so, many thanks to the Reception Team for their friendly and helpful service The resort is nicely situated for visiting a range of north Devon attractions but you will need a car to make the most of your stay. Enjoy the peaceful location.

We had a lovely evening enjoying a great meal as part of a 60th Birthday celebration week. As a group of 9 plus small dog we were looked after by Erin and a team of friendly staff. Food all arrived together and was piping hot and tasty. Loved the old school music too.

I decided to come here with my family for lunch. We found it draughty, even in the middle of the room. We ordered all together, but some food came out first, and the rest of us had to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of it. They did apologise and gave us extra chips!!!! I had ordered a ham sandwich and the meat was thick and had lots of fat on. I left most of it. There were 6 adults and 2 children and when we had finished there was alot of food left over. The chips were cold and some of the food was dry. My sandwich was £8.95. Too much. It is all over priced and most of it just come out of the freezer. I don`t think I will be back.

Fif and Ann Buckingham bought this 16th Century Hotel in August 2019 when the building was in need of some serious love and attention, as was the reputation of its services. A complete refurbishment programme was initiated, which has led to high-class accommodation and a growing reputation for food and drink. The intention is to become known for vegetarian and vegan food as well as cask-conditioned real ales. Breakfast is included with room bookings and food is served in the restaurant every day of the week. The ethos of the establishment is to provide a stimulating, creative, and welcoming place for people to go where everyone is equal. The owners welcome all visitors to Hartland Peninsula's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and are happy to give walkers a lift to and from the nearby coastal path if required. Free parking is available onsite and local buses are available to Bideford and Bude.
We had a nice clean room. Dinner was good, they obviously have a decent chef in he evenings. Reasonably priced bar, Breakfast not the best, overcooked cheap sausage, tough bacon. But for £80, not a bad deal

Stayed here for 1 night and thank god it was only one night! Check in was at 4pm, the check in was very strange as there seemed to be a bunch of friends sitting around a sofa smoking and drinking, we thought we was in the wrong place! The rooms were very basic and not very clean, it wasn’t the best stay. Breakfast wasn’t very nice, poor cereal and extra for cooked breakfast but judging by all the dead flies everywhere we decided to pick up something whilst out and about. I would never stay here again

Had a meal here with family..... thought it was awfully quiet when arrived, after i left i knew why!!!! The so called chef and waitress were eating the food before the dinner service had even been finished, highchair was filthy, no hand soap in the toilets. food was disgusting and cold, expensive for the poor quality. Top it all off me and my two children come away with food poisoning not happy and will not recommend. A LOT COULD BE IMPROVED
