After our first two hotels this place was a godsend....so much so we stayed an extra night. Located on a beautiful sandy beach which offered a terrific beach swimming especially at high tide. Our room was large, clean and well ventilated. The restaurant offered a limited but adequate menu and the bar well stocked with a selection of beer and wine. The staff were absolutely wonderful and eager to please. The Wednesday night cultural show and buffet were good value with the vast majority of the audience local Tongans

It was my first time in Tonga and the stay was beautiful, beachside location, watching whales all the time from the terrace and the best sunsets ever. The staff is very friendly and they are very willing to help with whatever you need all the time. The food is delicius and you also can ask for a vegetarian or vegan option (They offer a lot of vegetales in a place where its really difficult to find them) There is a table with Water to drink (you can refill your bottle everytime) hot Water and herbs for free all day. The rooms are spacious, with private bathroom and all very clean and comfortable If you come to EUA Hideaway is the place! Thank you very much Marta and all of your staff for everything?? Maló lahi!!!

"A little bit of home." The home has character and a homey atmosphere. It is located across from the Royal Tombs, and Queen Salote College, with only a short walk to downtown Nukualofa, the waterfront and the Royal Palace. All the rooms have electric fans and air conditioning available. There is a full kitchen, hot showers and laundry service. It is comfortable, clean and secure. We have Wifi, but limited to emails and check flights.
I stayed at the dorm room with my son , and my cousin..It was an eye opener, service was excellent, and it was cheap as too. Staff very helpful and efficient. I am going to come back there in November with my wife. Thanks a lot for everything, see you guys soon

For travelers who enjoy truly unique destinations, Sea Change is an off the grid eco retreat providing unique luxury beach front accommodation with the lightest possible footprint. Sea Change is small but perfectly formed, an idyllic escape for a maximum of 12 guests at any one time – giving you an almost deserted island paradise to chill out and recharge your batteries. During the months of July to October we offer whale watching/swimming encounter trips.
When one stumbles on to something so rare and pristine in this crazy world, you selfishly kinda want to keep it a secret! A year ago, we found a paradise visiting remote Sea Change on Uoleva. Positioned on the best beach on the Island, SCER is accessible only by boat. Accomodation is in the form of traditional Fales or island tents, dotted beneath the palm and coconut trees, opening to warm sea breezes and the sound of quiet ocean movement. Each Fale is discreetly positioned for privacy. Ocean swimming and snorkelling along the reefs is unsurpassed, both accessible from the beach. Of course, whale watching is a key attraction and SC offers undoubtedly the best whale experiences in Tonga. We were truly appreciative of the sensitivity with which this organisation approaches it's whale experiences, always placing the whales' welfare first. The hosts and their friendly staff provide an unforgettable experience for their guests!. Loved the Tongan staffs' humorous intro to Tongan folklore! Food was delicious, and frequently included fresh fish caught on the day. Please do not go to this place if you're looking for the island party life! It really suited to people who want to reset, recharge, recalibrate and reconnect with Nature. Forget the hairdryers and mobile phones. Lose your shoes and forget about them. Swim, read , snorkel, kayak, watch the sun set over distant volcanoes and islands, Listen to silence, contemplate the stars of the southern skies, and find self restoration.

Nestled right on the beach, this island paradise offers clean, comfortable and serviced beach-front accommodation only 5 minutes from Pangai town and the airport. Swim with the whales, scuba dive, snorkel, kayak or do nothing at all. Guests enjoy free bicycles, snorkel gear and WiFi. The meals are excellent at the ocean view restaurant and bar with office services for the business traveller too. All bathrooms have hot water.
Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, we were the only guests at the Ha'apai Beach Resort. Owners, Matt and Jodi, were very welcoming and attentive to our desires for a peaceful retreat. Our access to the main town of Pangai (1.4 KM) was convenient and made easier by the availability of free-to-use bicycles. The grounds and facilities are very well maintained, The unique decor adds to the charm of the place. Spud and Chino, the resort's kind four-legged friends, welcome you as part of the family. We enjoyed excellent meals that included farm-fresh vegetables grown onsite. Dining outside and while enjoying a great sea-side view with beautiful sunsets was a memorable part of our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Two little beach houses and a duplex unit skirt the beach and offer a lovely view of the Pacific and the surrounding islands. It's the perfect place to relax, snorkel, enjoy the ocean and sleep to the sound of waves. Lowest priced beachfront accommodation in Vava'u. There are cooking facilities for each house allowing for self-catering. Snorkeling and kayaking from our beach. Giant Trevally Fishing Charters and free shuttle to local pickup points for your water activities.
Lovely place. Nice beach and great place to chill with our three year old. Cool to kayak to the nearby reefs. Taxi service allows you to get supplies to self cook or go into town for dinner or lunch. Hosts are great.

Although I spent 3 nights in Nerima Lodge some time ago, I still remember a homely feeling I have experienced while staying there. It is conveniently located close to the centre of Nuku'alofa in very quiet area. The rooms are small, but clean and very cosy. The prices are reasonable. Overall - a good value for money and comfort. Highly recommended.

Real Tongan hospitality. Private or shared rooms. Bathrooms en-suite or shared. Very clean and safe. Beautiful gardens and lawns. Your Tongan hostess Taina speaks fluent English and German. Kitchen available for guests use for free. Delicious and nutritious home cooked meals prepared upon request. Located on forest's edge close to 'Eua Island's spectacular natural attractions. Excellent hiking maps and info. Bike and horse hire. Guides and tours. Unique and varied birdlife.
The place is conveniently located for hiking and the people were nice, but the facilities are not well kept. There were holes in the mosquito nets and rats in the walls. The kitchen looked rather dirty at times. Bring your own food, the meals offered are overpriced and not nice. There is not much available on 'Eua. If you can't get anything else on the island, then consider this place. But it's worth spending a little extra as the other accomodation options on the island are very nice...
