This guesthouse is the place to stay in Weimar if you’re looking for something of the beaten track. This elegant combination of Asian finesse and industrial chic would fit in any metropole. Great rooms, friendly staff and an excellent location (just around the central market square). The owners als operate an excellent restaurant (and an Asian food store) across the street. The only minor point is they offer no breakfast (but the owners provide ample suggestions and rumour has they will open a cafe shortly to cater for this).

The first choice for me! i've been in B&B Weimar many times!Perfect position, good breakfast, very clean and close to the center of Weimar! The price and the kindness of the receptionists is for sure a plus!

Hotel Hollerbusch is a superb hotel: great Location, very High standard of facilities throughout, first class breakfast, fast, complementary WiFi, complementary mini bar in the room, complementary tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes. There is also a lovely secluded garden. If the owners’ vision is to give guests a high-quality, personalised experience in a bespoke hotel, they have certainly achieved it.

I stayed at Gästehaus Zur Noll in July while in Jena for a conference. It is in a perfect location (centre and a stone's throw from the historical university!) and is sparkling clean. The staff are kind and there were even some treats in the room for me (Haribo and apples!). The breakfast was amazing and everything went smoothly with check in and check out. Great value for the money too. Would highly recommend!

It was a two store room. Downstairs it was all decorated in dark grey and black and it looked like a dancing club from the 80s. We could not close the window because there was no ventilation id we did.Upstairs the ceilings were of glass but there were no shades. It looked like they have adapted some other purpose space into a bedroom and just throw some beds in there. We left one day earlier and no one cared to understand why. Very expensive for what we have got.Walking around in Bamberg certainly we saw better hotels.

Despite the central location and the nice views, this hotel is not worth going to again. It sits in the middle of a mall, where you have to get past a first pre-reception, then take the lift to 27th floor, and then find a tiny second reception where you get your room card and pay. There is no lobby, no feel-good factor, no nothing. The rooms are minimalistic, almost on Motel-One level, with glass and metal tops, the bed uncomfy, etc. Not worth the price (paid EUR 107) in any way. More like 70, perhaps.

Very bad experience. Arrived the first day late in the evening and never expected there will be no reception desk at the guest house itself. I tried calling the number from reception desk and could get only an automated response. Not knowing where to go or whom yo contact I ended making a new reservation in another place . Worst experience.

Lovely hotel in an old building in the old parts of town. The small old town is a nice and good surprice. The hotel has a backyard for parking. The hotel, the rooms, the restaurant are all in grand style, old faschion. A small reception taken straight from an episode of "Derrick", with a friendly and helpfull lady who made you feel welcome. Our room and bathroom were large and the beds were the best ever. Lots of closet space. It was a fridge with different bottles in the hallway, help yourself, and pay when you leave. We were here off season and had origially booked at the Grunes Tor hotel. Both hotels cooperate, and we were quite happy with the Patrizier . The hotel also has a sun terrace, and the breakfast was good.. The town Schmalkalden is small but have a few good and charming restaurants, open even in low season. The road leading to the town is nice with lovely woods, .winding roads and nice views.
