A smorgasbord of flavors come from this lofty land in the hilly southeast of Belgium: game, wild boar, venison, smoked ham, the region's famous paté and world-renowned Trappist beers. Primarily located in Belgium, the Ardennes mountains also nudge into France and Luxembourg. Dense forests flank the steep hillsides, and market towns and villages perch on river banks. Spring and summer show this lush area at its best, but cross country skiing opportunities make a good case for winter visits.

This weekend we stayed with our 2 children and dog (which was welcomed very nice) in chateau de vignee. The total stay was perfect! The staff is extremly friendly and does everthing to make your stay the best possible. Today we needed to leave early and the hotel did everything to make sure we could have breakfast before the regular hours. We used the wellness and the massages were very nice, also with the roomservice was no effort to much! We will definitely return!

A nice Place to stay if you like the Ardennes and are not too afraid of muddy feet. It´s a Family and Kids -friendly Hotel for Outdooractivists but also great for Congresses and Familyreunions. It might occur that the Parkingsport run out or that you have to get used to find your way to the room after the Doors are locked.

A little up the hillside is the cozy Hotel La Ferronniére. A nice villa, which has been converted into a hotel. The site has been expanded with a wellness center and suites in an annex. We visited the place for an extended weekend. 3 nights with breakfast and dinners, of which 1 dinner as gourmet. The rooms are very stylishly decorated. 2 of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the city. The hotel has a nice terrace with the same good views. The food is excellent and significantly better than you can otherwise get in Bouillon. However, it does not reach the Bib Gourmet level that the hotel was otherwise awarded in 2020. The restaurant suffers from a significant flaw. The kitchen can not keep up when fully occupied, resulting in long waits between dishes. We thus had to wait 45 min between second dish and the main course.

Warmly welcomed by the owner who provided a great deal of helpful information for our short stay (both local sights and a good restaurant). The accommodation and the breakfast were flawless. I can see why the reviews are all so good. It’s a pleasure to add one more! Tastefully refurbished spacious bedroom with modern bathroom and fittings and a superb breakfast in the elegant former music room of a fine city mansion. Safe courtyard parking and situated within easy walking distance of restaurants in the old quarter of Liège. Should we ever return I would be disappointed if we had to stay anywhere else. A lovely end to our holiday.

Very kind personnel and good value for money. Very nice region. The dinner was excellent. Still, it is a pity they ask supplements for some dishes. We had not noticed that and had booked half-board. So the tenant decided all supplements were included in half-board. Ask beforehand! Anyway, very nice people and stay. Wifi only possible downstairs, not in the rooms.

Excellent stay in this lovely pet friendly hotel with a more than fair price/quality ratio. I had a spacious room with a balcony on the first floor, ideal to relax with a cocktail from the bar. The owner, Thierry, is the nicest and most gracious host you'll ever meet, always there to help out and give advice. He took great care of me and spoiled my dog with ice water. The garden is well kept and inviting. The breakfast was excellent. A place I will come back to. Check it out!

We just spent a night at this small scale hotel with friends. The place is somewhat outdated, but this certainly is compensated by tonnes of charm. The fireplace is great for late night conversations. Beds are good, bathroom nicely refurbished. Acoustics are bad, so bring earplugs. Breakfast is truly grate. Over all: excellent value for money.
