Reviewed By Curious265314We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are clean. AC worked well. Service was great. Everyone was really helpful. We arrived late in the evening due to traffic from the airport. When we arrived the restaurant had already closed. The two overnight security guards offered to give us a ride on their motor bikes to a very small local stand to get a bite to eat. We were starving and incredibly grateful. Free walking tours and shuttles to central Ubud. The walking tour was really insightful. We went through the back-alleys of the town and learned so much about the people and the culture there in Bali. Breakfast in the morning is also fantastic. Would definitely come back in the future.

Reviewed By SKH81We booked two rooms and stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are lovely and clean and modern. The air conditioning works very well. Breakfast is served in their restaurant which is across the road and up a bit from the accommodation. The breakfast menu isn’t large but it is good enough. The omelettes and the fresh juice were very tasty. Lovely staff, lovely owners... we will be back in March.

Extremely Noisy
Reviewed By jgQ3419UWMy room was next to the road where loud motorcycles go passed till around 1 am. On the other side roosters are calling from 5 am. I don’t really see the point in paying for a hotel where you can only get 3 or 4 hours sleep. There may be rooms on the other side that are quieter but I wasn’t so lucky.

The location is in the middle of beautiful rice fields, really nice to wake up and have a walk/jogging in the morning while the sun rises. The village is full of friendly people and it feels very safe to be there. We had a scooter that gives you a lot of freedom to go anywhere you want. Market of Tegallalang is 10 min drive and the food there is amazing. So definitely something you need to try. There are a lot of restaurants where you can eat/work as well. Host and family are very friendly and can give a lot of tips! Overal a great place to stay!

This is a very small hotel (6 rooms) that is built ~2018 as a retreat of a (very friendly) Malaysian business owner, who rents the rooms out if there are no family or friends around. This gives it a different vibe and a different feel. You see it in the quality of the materials they used. The food is (amongst) the best we had on our 6 week trip in Bali. It is an open kitchen, which adds to the informal feeling. The support from Putu (the manager) was very good and he and his staff did everything they could to meet our needs. They had great interactions with our three year old son. It was great when Putu drove and guided us himself during one of the half day rides we booked. It’s outside of Ubud, but the walk through the rice fields is stunning. If you stay here ask Putu about the path downhill that you can stroll; very nice in both directions and it gives you the feeling that you are of the beaten track.

Relaxing retreat

It was so relaxing and quiet, clean, beautiful pool area, delicious breakfast, excellent service, and lovely room (including stunning semi-outdoor bathroom). We had a great massage there too. When we arrived our room had been decorated in flowers and we were warmly greeted by staff. It is about a 20 minute scooter ride from Ubud which meant it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of town. Highly recommended.

Perfect if you want a quiet and close to the city place
Reviewed By Bianca AWe stayed for 2 nights there and we had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and they try to make you happy no matter what. The place has quiet surroundings and in the evening you can hear the whole jungle coming to life. The cool fact is 10 minutes away from the city centre by motorbike. The room is very clean and they also have hot water. I definitely recommend this place for people who want to see Ubud, but still want to sleep in a relaxing and quiet place.
