This lovely little gem unveils its magic the minute Kristy meets you at the door with her warm welcome. She is a wealth of local information. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. The room came complete with the most divine homemade oatmeal cookies . No regular white mugs here, vintage tea cups are the ticket. Breakfast is delivered in a basket to your door with lovely yogurts, a cheese and veg plate, granola, pancakes and muffins! It was plentiful enough to make for road snacks. The location is far enough to feel cozy yet close enough to where you need to go. We loved our stay. I will miss Simon’s treats!

A warm highland welcome awaits you at our beautifully renovated family croft house. We renovated and extended a traditional croft house in 2003 and have managed to modernize it without losing the Highland Croft House character. I have managed to weave some of my grandmothers antique furniture into the décor so the rooms have a traditional feel while being fresh and modern with a touch of luxury for the visitors to the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye. We are situated on a working croft in the quiet Gaelic speaking crofting village of Staffin. Staffin is 16 miles North of the capital Portree, 50 miles from the toll free bridge and a 20 minute drive to Uig ferry terminal.
This B&B has possibly spoiled us forever. We usually prefer the anonymity of hotels, but Joanna and Alan really made us feel like we were in a home away from home (as cliche as that may sound). We don't recall ever visiting a B&B that was so well-kept and clean. The interior is very well thought out, and everything fits together really well. It felt more like staying with family than with people we had never met before. The location is excellent, very close to the Quiraing (of which you can already get a lovely view from the B&B itself). The bed was wonderful, and the room was nice and big. We will have a hard time finding a B&B this good anywhere else.

Beautiful secluded location on a quiet road a few miles south of Staffin with spectacular views to the Trotternish Ridge behind. Basic facilities but clean and the beds were comfy - just what we needed after a long tough day hiking. What really makes this place special though are the owners Andy and Linzi who are just the nicest people you could possibly wish to stay with - a lift to / from the nearest restaurant a few miles up the road was no problem at all, and Andy even sat up and had a beer with us in the lounge when we got in. Excellent breakfast too. Well done, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Skye.

Family run Bed & breakfast with stunning views of the sea, Torridon Mountains and the Isle of Rhona. Ideal location for fishing, walking or touring the Isle of Skye.
This Isle of Skye bed and breakfast is remote and situated beautifully on hills and cliffs with dramatic views. Very welcoming hosts and they make you feel like family. Very attentive and knowledgeable about local activities and sights to see. Breakfast was fantastic and Rachel is very flexible if you want to get in an early hike before breakfast. Close to a waterfall cascading into the sea or a 10 minute drive to the Old Man of Storr trailhead. Spectacular walks and hikes all around. Room was very comfortable and the property makes you feel the remote beauty of Isle of Skye. We highly recommend this property if you enjoy comfort, great food, and proximity to hikes while enjoying the peace and quiet of a remote location.

Stayed here for two nights and it was really lovely. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both a bath and shower which was nice. The couple who run the guest house are warm and friendly and gave us advice on things to do. Breakfast was also very nice. Highly recommend.

The Anmara Cottage was an amazing spot for our 3 night stay on Skye. It was spotlessly clean and really had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. My sister and I loved the quiet rural location right at the base of the Quiraing and it was an easy drive to Portree. The views over the ocean and open fields from the cottage were breathtaking. The central location on the Trotternish Peninsula meant that nearly all of the sites we came to see were nearby which made sightseeing easy. The owner, Mairi, was so nice and had breakfast items there for us and she gave us great tips for the area. The property is private and quiet and even had a cute friendly lamb, in the fenced area directly in front of the cottage. Gorgeous views and we even got to see Northern Lights thanks to Mairi texting us to take a look outside, even though she had left for Glasgow earlier in the day. Staying at the Anmara Cottage helped make Skye the highlight of our trip to Scotland!

We stayed here for only one night (though we would have liked to extend our stay - but we had other bookings for the following nights) and everything was just wonderful! The room was decorated very nicely, everything was sparkling clean and the host is very very friendly. The breakfast was delicious too and the view from the room was just amazing. The place is close to the Staffin beach and the Kilt Rocks. I must say that this was the greatest stay we had in Scotland during our one week trip and would recommend this to anyone looking for cozy accomodation on Skye Island.
