Recently stayed at the Inn, to introduce another couple to our place of rest and relaxation. We were super excited to get one of the renovated rooms. The upgrades to the bathroom were very nice, the shower is much more user-friendly, and I love the new double sinks in the bathroom. Lots of upgrades on the grounds. Adirondack chairs in all the best places with a perfect view of the water. New furnishings around the pool. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, and the best night of sleep we have had in months. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, this place is a winner.I

We arrived very early and our room wasn’t ready yet but the women at the reception area were so pleasant and welcoming. They advised where we could go, offered to store our things and told us they would text when the room was ready. About 30 minutes later our room was ready. What a nice room but unfortunately it was on the 3rd floor (room #9). we live in Florida so we were not use to stairs. The Inn was in a great location, the staff was wonderful, the breakfast was so delicious we forgot about the stairs because everything else was perfect. We would absolutely stay there again but not in room 9.

I must say I was skeptical of staying at a B&B..... stranger's house with strangers..... but after staying here I am converted!! The house is lovely as are the grounds. You can tell the hard work and love that goes into this home. We stayed in the Green Rabbit room which was very nice but I especially loved the private porch off the bedroom! The oatmeal choclate chip cookies were such a nice treat and delicious. The breakfast was superb!!

This hotel was definitely not worth the price. My husband and I decided to book this location for an anniversary trip. As we walked in the hotel, we saw water dripping from the ceiling and the hotel had placed mop buckets to collect the dripping water. Also, the hotel is lacking in cleanliness. The one elevator was dirty and the hallways needed to be vacuumed. My husband and I requested our room be cleaned on day two and housekeeping never showed up. Furthermore, we requested clean towels two times and never received them. I did try to speak to someone about my concerns at checkout but supposedly all of the managers were off on vacation. I won’t be staying here again when I return to Charleston.

This review is actually about their other property, The Quarters on Spring also in Charleston. I guess it is a new (only on the outside) property of theirs. We booked this place 2 months ago. Everything around was either booked or so crazy expensive. Unbeknownst to us a very popular 10k race was taking place the weekend we were looking to visit Charleston. 3 nights in a studio apt cost us $1000.00. This was the least expensive we could find. On the outside it looked redone. We noticed lots of young people. We come to find out it’s in a college area. Lots of student housing all around us. Ok, back to the studio: NOISE! Like I’ve never heard before! It’s ON a Main Street at a light! Cars, busses, motorcycles, blasting music, people walking right at our window and door. NOISY, NOISY! The place was small. 1 little and vey uncomfortable couch with dirty little pillows was the only place to sit. An equally small coffee table had to serve as our dining area and our foot rest area. Only 1 outlet worked so we had to move the coffee maker onto the tv stand. The kitchen was ill equipped with no towels, 1 small plate, 2 forks and the NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a sound machine on the tiny and squooshed bedroom where we had to walk sideways to get into the bed! I wished we had been warned before we booked as to the location and condition of the place! If you are on the younger spectrum I’m sure you’d be fine with this place but as an okder person it was awful!!!!

It was very nice. Super convenient location. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the people and traffic go by and across the bridge. Breakfast was a $7 voucher per person at Rain and Bagel. We loved it. As advertised, there is no elevator. As a recent senior citizen, I began to feel it as I climbed to the third floor. The live-in innkeeper was super nice and accommodating. My wife called her about finding some board games and she located something for us. It was a very pleasant evening playing biard games or reading on the patio.
