Reviewed By Carlalberto FNice hotel, in good location, clean and tidy. Bed comfortable, bathroom without brush for WC, nice breakfast, dinner menu not too attractive. Anyway, during covid period it could be useful to have a fridge in the room.

The charming Francine and Jean Jacques (and their two beautiful dogs) offered the most personal of welcomes and their home is an extraordinarily beautiful oasis. A wonderful breakfast and a great location from which to explore this perfect town. We had a nice dinner at Table St Jean (a recommendation from our hosts) and our stay could not have been more pleasant. Highly recommended

Fabulous place and fabulous owners
Reviewed By JanRSFWe stayed two nights in the Medieval Suite which was very large, had a king bed and large modern bathroom with a fancy multi function shower. The room is beautiful with stone walls, leaded windows and ceiling beams. There’s a covered patio where we were able to enjoy a glass of wine even though it was raining. The grounds are beautiful and they host weddings and events. They offer dinner several times per week and we were lucky to be there on one of those nights. They offer several entrees and several plates. We had melon with ham and heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella to start. We both had duck breast followed by creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. We had a bottle of Chablis. The three course meal is 25€ and very delicious. Veronique and Olivier, the owners, were great and Olivier was the chef. The property is well located to downtown restaurants and shops, a few blocks from The Rose Garden and at the base of the hill for the old town which can be walked to. We hope to return, we would definitely stay here again.

beautiful place however, staff not very engaging nor trusting

Although the sun sets where extraordinary and the property lush we found the staff untrusting like we weren't going to pay for a business meeting we were going to host. As we were set to leave the host ran into the office to make sure we were not going to get over on the extra' we ordered for this business meeting. The unspoken message was very clear as the host ran into the office with a huff and puff to make sure the Americans were not going to get over on the french chateau. Breakfast substandard.

Worst "hotel" ever!
Reviewed By Johanna_DavidsThe staff is rude and very unprofessional. Rooms are smelly and the hygiene is just unbelievable. I would not advise this place to anybody. Pictures and descriptions are completely misleading about this poor serviced cabanon.

Reviewed By CorneliaH493Lovely place in a tiny rural town in the Brie countryside not far from Paris with many walks through the surrounding woods and a delicious breakfast. The decoration of the rooms is charming. The guest rooms, behind the family quarters, are away from the road and are thus very quiet. In the summer there's an outside terrace and green space for children.

La Maison dans la Brie is a Guest House with 3 family bedrooms (2 to 4 people) installed in an ancient fortified farm in the country side of Paris, in the middle of woods and fields in a small village in Paris area. Ideal for a short break or a long stay on the way to or back from Paris with limited driving distance to Disney (30mn away). Charming rooms, Diner table service available with prior request, and large garden with 8m circle swimming pool with glass roof shelter.

Reviewed By Tracy BThe House in the Brie is just wonderful. An authentic farmhouse furnished so beautifully. Our room was spacious with a very large bathroom. We had views to the front and rear. The bed was comfortable too. What can I say a gem of a place. Saint-Augustin itself is a very quiet hamlet, with only a short journey to a town, the Big Cat Park and Disneyland. Severine and Julien were very friendly and helpful hosts and most welcoming even though we arrived late. The breakfast was delicious. You also have use of a microwave, plates, kettle, etc as Sundays in France are limited for eating out. Not forgetting to mention the cat and 2 kittens, which were very friendly. As I'm a cat lover The House in the Brie was fantastic. Location wise it's an oasis of calm, with the full on world of Disneyland only 30 mins drive away. Thank you

He was so helpful and made our stay perfect.... he helped us find our way around the area and made dinner reservations for us. Our room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Fresh orange juice, hot coffee, pastries, bread and jam, homemade yogurt and honey from his hives. We cannot wait to go back.

Reviewed By ElhasbaouiThe Gite is well looked after with a cute little Kitchenette and a toilet separate from the bathroom. One large bed and three bunk beds, ideal for a family with kids. Situated in a very quiet area of town with a bakery, Mini market and a take away place delivering pizzas and burgers until 22:00. The studio apartment is located ten minutes away from Euro Disney (the purpose of our trip to France). The host was always a phone call away, leading up to our arrival. Although we were more than an hour late, there was a nice gentleman was waiting for us to give us the tour and hand over the keys. His advice was invaluable and money saving. He told us how to avoid paying for parking at the Euro Disney park, saving us 40 Euros a day. Thanks a lot. We were made to feel welcome and valued. It made our magic two days at Euro Disney that little bit more special. I recommend this accommodation without hesitation and promised Sandrine to come back next time we're in Euro Disney.
