Wonderful and Peaceful yet close to town

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with outstanding views. There is a small gym as well as thermal pools that are perfect to relax in and watch the stars from after a long day of hiking. The owner of the Lodge Lorena, as well as the lady who manages the Lodge Ideria have been nothing short of amazing helping me with my stay and made a huge difference. I felt very much at home amongst family at Bambu Lodge and couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay at during my stay in Pucon. Lorena recommended me great agencies to organize my excursions and Ideria absolutely went out of her way to ensure I had an amazing stay; from an outstanding breakfast, to being super warm and friendly, to setting up the thermal waters, to making sure I always had tea / food, even when I had to leave super early. She even invited me to her birthday with her friends, which was a lovely.

If you have to get up early for tours, they can leave you your breakfast ready (same quality). Perfect for couples!

Reviewed By hwdp123list of problems: I stayed in this apartment for a week and below are the many issues encountered which made the experience less than pleasurable: - no towels for 3 days - water leaking in bathroom from sink and shower, floor always wet - couldn't use safe for 3 days-it was locked shut - back door in main bedroom didn't lock, was told repairman would fix it , he never did - hot water shut off one day, no one explained how to fix it - one morning, was woken up at 7 AM from men doing repairs in the building - wasted a lot of our time discussing these issues with owner, they were never resolved and nor was a refund provided as discussed

Hostal Müller, a friendly stay in Pucón

Felix and Walter were nice hosts, who gave us good tips on what to do during our stay. The room was small, but with a good bed and a private bathroom with a good shower. They serve a nice breakfast, with cheese, homemade marmelades and cake. We would definitely go there again.

Noisy rooms, poor breakfast, gentle staff
Reviewed By nikoliraYo can hear all the activity on the others rooms. As there is no elevator (5 floors), you can hear the other guests climbing the stairs until late at night. Worst part, you can hear others rooms a/c motors which makes vibrate the walls. The breakfast is poor. Eggs are good. But the rest really could be better. No honey in one of the regions producing the best honeys in the world. Only industrial bred. No avocado. Wouldn’t stay there again.

LA TETERA is a charming, comfortable but moderately priced Guesthouse, especially thought for international, individual travellers. Because we only have six rooms, the contact with the guests is very close. We organise excursions for those who wish, or we provide all the information you need, if you want to go on your own. Most rooms have shared bath, but there are also some with private bathroom. The building has lots of native wood that gives a cozy atmosphere.

Nice shared area with tea/coffee always available. Breakfast is the best we had in Chile - choose from a menu including options of granola and yoghurt, muesli, porridge, eggs, and more. All come with hot drinks, juice and bread and jam. If you have to leave early for a tour staff prepare a breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, bread and cereal for you to have first.

Fabulous oasis in the forest, close to Pucon.
Reviewed By CLCChicagoThis is a newer property, beautifully designed and laid out in a dense forest along a gorgeous river but still very close to the (relative) hustle and bustle of Pucon. There are only nine rooms so it's a very intimate experience. Chef/owner Juan-Carlos is personally attentive to all of your needs from selecting wine to booking excursions to explore the area (helicopter tours can land right at the hotel!) His food is fantastic, much of it sourced from the lodge's own garden. Impressive wine cellar. The rooms, common spaces and riverside hot tub and beaches are beautiful. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone visiting this fantastic part of Chile.

Insecure and disrespectful staff
Reviewed By Dani FWe were robbed here. My wife's iPhone SE disappeared after the cleaning service entered our apartment. When we kindly asked for help at the hotel front desk the people in charge were disrespectful and even laughed at us. We made the police go to the hotel complex, but the phone was gone. I wouldn't stay here again EVER, and I wouldn't recommend you to take chances here. You may be close to city center, but not as close as other well rated places. Stay away from this place.

Lovely simple accommodation
Reviewed By 207deirdrecWe stayed in the Hostel for 3 nights. The rooms are basic but clean and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was the usual fruit, yoghurt toast etc but plenty of it. The place felt very safe and is really well located
