Lovely small Hotel in residential area near the centre of Tampere
Reviewed By Elina PSmall cozy and stylish hotel next to the church of Viinikka, quite near Tampere City centre. Rooms are stylish, service is friendly and the Restaurant servers delicious Finnish-Italian food. Small gift shop offers lovely Souvenirs. Garden Restaurant will be open in summer 2022. Warm recommendation.

Reviewed By BlacktoenailsWe were unable to complete our planned visit to Finland in June 2022 and had to cancel a number of guests and alter the dates for others. Hotelli Ville dealt with our requests and refunds politely, efficiently, and speedily with the minimum of fuss. Good old-fashioned service goes a long way and is really appreciated in these uncertain times. Thank you.

An alright stay
Reviewed By johkiiiWithin a walking distance from the city center. An alright place to stay. The room was a bit outdated but there was a kitchen with a small fridge, stove and coffee maker. The breakfast buffet had narrow options but it was alright. Very friendly staff!

A really nice Hotel in the middle of nowhere
Reviewed By JGR_1980All hotels were fully booked in Tampere, and this hotel was the only available hotel within 300 km. Very nice suprice, price was cheap, room had aircondition, newly renovated with nice beds, the price included spa, that was also nice, the surroundings were spectacular. Also good food, brrakfast was ok. A really nice location in the middle of nowhere. Great parking, and free charging for electric vehicles.

Architectural gem not quite updated to function as a hotel
Reviewed By Na TA small hotel of some 10 rooms, located in the beautiful former home of a paper mill owner. A gem of functionalistic architecture of the 1930s. A big minus was the lack of bathrooms and toilets - something you would not expect from a hotel placed in a unique house like this. It seems that the the plumbing was close to its original form, including one bathroom + toilet to be shared by a pair of two rooms. Except for the 4 smallest rooms “economy”, that shared one toilet in foyer, and a legend of a bathroom somewhere in the premises. However, that bathroom did not exist in the main building, and there were. no instructions how to find it in the room. Luckily, our party had booked several rooms, so we were able to share one bathroom. Nevertheless, this hotel was worth visiting for 1 night, but a longer period without a bath room would have been problematic. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and with nice views - one side to the lake and the other to the park. Also the breakfast was good, and the service most kind.

Bad lunch
Reviewed By OlliN86It used to have great food. Nowadays the quality has worsened remarkably lot. Today I ate dry chicken. Last time there were pieces of bones within beef. Maybe there have been some changes in personnel.
