This picturesque Umbrian city has a history that spans many eras. The city wall and arch are Etruscan; the sixth-century Sant'Angelo church was built atop a Roman temple; the town's cathedral is both Gothic and Renaissance. If you have a sweet tooth, visit the famous Perugina chocolate factory; if you have a full set of sweet teeth, visit during the Eurochocolate festival, held in October, when the entire town reportedly smells of chocolate.

Once upon a time...is a B&B emerged in the Umbrian green hills just in front of the ancient walls of Perugia and therefor the perfect starting point to visit the town! Our B&B is a typical rural Umbrian house built of bricks and beautiful roof tiles. A traditional Umbrian house joined with modern respect of nature, which for us is fundamental. We produce our own electricity with our photovoltaic implant which produces warm-water. A heat pump produces heating and also supplies us with energy for air-conditioning. This guaranties maximum comfort and restrains the consumption. To minimise any kind of impact on nature we have adapted recycling which abled us to achieve a "ecosostenibilità da Legambiente" mark, eco-sustainability from Legambiente (the most widespread environmental organisation in Italy, "association of environmental intrest")Our guests are welcomed to a family-based stay in a flat with an independent entrance on the first floor. We are more than pleased to give advice on what to visit and we gladly give indications to unknown artistic and culinary destinations in the territory. With love for tradition, such as ancient furniture, wooden beam and historical agricultural equipment, we have created our frame for the B&B.A big porch surrounds the B&B and guests are given the possibility to lay down in the hammock and listen to familiar sounds from the owl, the hoopoe, or if you are an early bird even hear the cock-crow.If you are more of a sporty person you can go for a walk in the forest, gather typical land products or simply just go for a bike-ride admiring the beautiful settings.
This place was perfect. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is hard to park in Perugia so we went by cab which was not far and had a wonderful time. The views of the countryside are great. Food was good and Michaels father made us some sausage. What a great experience. I hope to return there. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay, lovely views, great food (make sure to book a table, it is a popular dining option for locals also), very friendly and helpful staff (owners?), nice pool area available all day. Breakfast had a great variety and was served in the cool of the main building, while the sun starts warming up the outside spaces. Thank you for 4 great days. Absolutely worth a visit.

We arrived and received a very warm welcome. We were with a baby and needed boiled water. The guys immediately opened their private kitchen and helped with all our needs. The place is very clean and feels like new. We asked for soy milk and got it especially for us. Breakfast is a bit lean.

San Felicissimo bed and breakfast,at just five minutes from the historical centre of Perugia, is the result of the restructuring of two old farm houses which date back to the beginning of the 19th century , set among olive trees and flowers. Here one can go for peaceful walks, swim in the large swimming - pool, in the relaxing atmosphere, typical of the Umbrian countryside .
Thanks to the hospitality of Erica and the excellent location of the agriturismo we had a wonderful time. See you again! The place is quiet but Perugia is close nearby (4 km). In addition, it has a wonderful view.

CorteViva is a Bed and Breakfast in an old villa completely restored and equipped with all comforts, 1 km from the San Francesco airport of Perugia and precisely in the small medieval village of St.Egidio
This b&b is amazing. The rooms are spacious and very clean (the junior suite is perfect for couple and child). The breakfast is great and there was a lot of food on offer. It is table service at the moment due to covid and you order the day before. We had it in the garden, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese were really tasty, as were the home made cakes! You can have coffee there during the day and also alcoholic drinks. If available try the homemade olive oil on bruschetta - it’s so good! The garden is beautiful which a hot tub, sun loungers and hammocks. We found it very relaxing and calming, even with a young child! I would say it’s also great for couples or friends. It’s very spacious b&b and great base to explore Tuscany and Umbria. It’s very close to the airport so really handy if you have an early flight. There is a great restaurant about 1km away. Would highly recommend.

Very nice, warm experience. Great attention from the owners, great food. I have dairy allergies, and they made some nice breakfast especially for me. Rooms very modern, clean, cozy. I believe it was worth, and very affordable. Simple, but very recommended.

This past June I was visiting very dear old friends from my time when I studied art and lived in Milan. Because this was a special evening, my friends took me to one of their favorite restaurants. We sat on the terrace and with our backs to the building, we faced to valley and hills beyond. It about 8PM when we arrived and the sun was beginning to set. The few clouds were beginning to reflect the suns final rays, against the light blue sky. They went from yellow, orange, and peach, to hints of lavender then to purples. The show was beautiful. The thing is once the sun set and the light of Perugia and the region were lit a, perhaps more beautiful show began. Looking across the valley towards the city, there were the cars' headlight winding up and down the hillside on the curvy and sometimes switchback roads. Then there were the houses and a few small villages and finally Perugia perched atop its Umbrian hill, all illumined and in a warm glow.

We spent three nights here and the facilities excellent, but the location even better, even though a little hard to find initially. We were minutes from the centre of everything. The host looked after us very well and was so helpful with advise on restaurants, bars and shopping. The apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable and you didn't notice the lack of a view being so central. We were pleased we didn't hire a car here, although parking might be easier outside the Easter period.

The room and bathroom were completely new, clean and at short walking distance from the railway station (2 min). Access to the center of Perugia is easy by a small and frequent metro. Close by a friendly pizzeria and a couple of supermarkets. As drawback, access to the place is a bit complex. Since this is an apartment with a few rooms to rent, we must call the staff to meet us at the entrance of the building, where they arrive in a few minutes. Breakfast, nice, but in a local coffee shop outside the building. Busy street with plenty of cars and corresponding noise.
