Cochs Pensjonat is centrally located on the corner of the Royal Palace Park in Oslo. The hotel has 205 beds and 89 rooms: single rooms, twin, 3- and 4-bedded rooms. We offer clean and tidy rooms at a reasonable rate. The reception is open 24 hour in this family run hotel. Heartily welcome!
The rooms at Cochs Pensjonat are clean, simple and budget-friendly. If you're just in a need of bed, wc and shower, it's a great place to stay in Oslo. Compared to hotels, this offers a much more economic stay. There is a little kitchen in the "budget rooms" (which is the cheapest accomondation at Cochs) where you can cook your own food. Kitchen equipment are handed out by the reception. Perfect location! Just in the corner of the Castle park.

You feel like you enter into someones home when arriving in this historic hotel. The owners are present at all times and they are so, so passionate about this place and they alway stop by and talk to the guests. The hotel is charmingly old, but well renovated, keeping it old-fashoined. We had a large room with a huge bathroom and a balcony. Very comfortable. There is a patio/terrace along the front of the main bulding and this is a perfect spot having a night cap. The breakfast was very good and covid-19 rules was taken care of. We had dinner in the large dining room our last night and the three-course meal was excellent. Highly recommended.

Treat yourself, as our guest in this unique and historic home, designed by one of Stavanger’s most famous architects, Hartvig Sverdrup Eckhoff. Two of the rooms have direct access, and use of a balcony, and all four rooms have easy access and use of the garden. The house is set in one of Stavanger’s most sought after residential areas, only a 5 minutes stroll from the city centre, yet, this beautiful tree lined road, offers calm and tranquillity to the discerning traveller. Museums, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance, and the Airport Bus Service, only a few hundred meters away. Come and join us, as our guest, for a unique and special experience.
From the moment we stepped in the door I knew we had made the right choice. Our host was first class in the welcome and the house is just so beautiful. Bedroom was everything we needed together with a little kitchen next door where guests could use microwave or make tea or coffee at any time. Breakfast was superb with a great range of food. It was delightful sitting around a proper dining table in a tastefully decorated room exchanging our adventures with other guests. The guesthouse is ideally situated in Stavanger and easy walk to most places of interest and ferries. The bus stop to and from the airport is about a 5 minute walk.

I stayed only a night at this comfortable hotel but wished I could have stayed more. The very helpful owners had tourist information about the area which made me realise how much is available to do there. On top of that the accommodation was well run, and my room had a good sized bed and spacious bathroom. There were lovely views of the fjord from the breakfast room and extensive garden terrace where meals were available. The hotel is close to the car ferry but quiet at night.

This place was epic! The accommodation is extremely comfortable and cozy, the food is absolutely delicious (!!), the hosts super friendly and kind and the location ideal. We were looking for somewhere to relax, hike, eat well and unwind, and Herangtunet offered exactly that. Marco and his team are awesome. Oh and the sauna and hot tub were a total hit! Would go back, no, WILL go back for sure!

Kongsvold is a historical hotel with traditions from year 1100. Described in Rough guide as "one of the most charming places to stay in the whole of Norway" A reknown restaurant serves lunch and applecake from 12 to 16 and dinner every night at 19 o clock. Friendly atmosphere in the Dovrefjell mountains, easy to find along E6 and has also its own railway station.
Great hotel from where a great musk ox safari departs. Wonderful breakfast buffet of great quality and variety, kind and passionate staff. Many living rooms where it feels like seating with a book, admiring the surrounding craft-works and artworks. Beautiful natural setting.

Lovely authentic old hotel. We visited off season, in October, and despite the fact that the restaurant was closed, the owners still provided a great plate of crisp bread, ham, cheese and fruit for dinner. Thank you, Ove and Turid! ❤️ We had some magnificent hikes in the area. ⛰

Trolltunga Hotel is situated in the heart of the Town of Outdoorlife, Odda in Hardanger. Our focus is on sustainability, to express the unique history of the area, to create a relaxing atmosphere and to use local producers both furnishings, food and drinks. The beautiful villa building from 1928 was renovated in 2017, with a newly built wing from 2016. In 2021, even more rooms were in at a brand new floor at the added wing, as well as a spectacular restaurant made of glass in front of the hotel. The interior is a combination of Nordic, modern and retro, but since we are so privileged regarding surroundings – mountains, waterfalls and glacier water - the view out to the beautiful nature is the main interior. While taking in the impression of the mighty Opo River right outside the windows our team strives to offer a place where everyone of our guests can recharge their batteries.
Excellent reception staff and restaurant waiter. Local dishes on menu, served with a smile. Hotel rooms are.... small. Hotel is from the 1920, so this is no 5 star plastic hotel, but you get an autenitic experience. Be sure to order local cider when here. World class.
