Historic Harbourside Pub Inn & Hotel. A landmark building with its history of hospitality going back over 100 years. Our atmospheric restaurant and pub food experience will be very much 'River Cottage' style with Seafood, Fresh Fish, Local Farm Produce, Seasonal ingredients, Carvery, Kids Menu Not forgetting Celiac gluten free, dairy free lots of choice. If we cannot grow it or raise it on our farm, you can be sure it is locally sourced and the very best of quality. From home smoked bacon to our own baked breads you won't go hungry. Alfresco eating with beautiful scenic views. Great Beers & Wines. Cosy in winter with a real fire. Completely refurbished during the summer of 2013
Characterful sea front inn of refreshingly authentic old world charm rather than fake olde worlde theme pub. Young staff commendably friendly with good service skills. Did have to wait a l-o-n-g time for our meals, likely the fish was proving hard to catch ! My lambs liver meal was worth the l-o-n-g wait though the mash rather too lumpy ( smooth mash is the best ). Wife enjoyed her delayed fish though found it a little dry. Despite these minor issues certainly enjoyed the visit and the window seat we were blessed with.

The Parks is a lovely 4 star Georgian guest house in a quiet area of Minehead, where a warm welcome is guaranteed. We have achieved a breakfast award for our hearty Exmoor breakfast, with many ingredients sourced locally. Our double, twin and family rooms are all ensuite and beautifully appointed. All rooms have TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffeee making facilities and a hair dryer.
Chris and Sue are great host. First night in town for the SW path hike. Rooms were clean and cozy. The full English breakfast was amazing and best I’ve had in my UK time. Fried eggs and bacon and beans and huge mushrooms. Will certainly come back the next time through the UK.

Can't review my stay here as my booking was cancelled with just 2 days notice. Not very impressed. Received an email asking me to cancel my booking! No phone call just some unforseen issue. Good grief.

A really good place for Sunday lunch. Lots of meat, and also a good variety of vegetables. Service was very efficient, and although it was very busy, we were not rushed. The crème brûlée was to die for!! We are here on holiday, but will certainly return when we come back to the area.

Stayed here on our last night of our trip, felt welcomed, a great choice and plentiful food. Room was quiet and had a great nights sleep, the shower was a bit temperamental, but which hotel showers aren't when everyone is using them at once. Plenty of car parking, highly recommended, would definitely stay again when passing.

I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is going to Minehead for a short break. Gill and Chris are excellent hosts and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfasts are something to behold, anx there is nothing negative that can be said about the Baytree. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

The Langbury is the large Edwardian home of Nigel and Paula Smythe. Originally built as a gentleman's residence, it stands in its own grounds set in an elevated position in the small coastal village of Blue Anchor. Here you will find a friendly welcoming atmosphere combined with individual attention and an excellent Aga cooked, locally sourced, breakfast. Accommodation is provided in five individually furnished rooms which all enjoy magnificent views of the sea and the hills of glorious Exmoor and the Quantocks which are a feast for the eyes at any time of year. The Langbury is 100 metres from the beach and Blue Anchor Station where you can board a steam train on the West Somerset Railway - the longest preserved railway in the country. We are approximately half a mile outside of the Exmoor National Park and three miles from the medieval village of Dunster with its fairy-tale National Trust Castle. The traditional seaside resort of Minehead is five miles to the west and the ancient harbour town of Watchet three miles to the East.
The hotel is run by Nigel & Paula. They keep the hotel and gardens immaculate. The breakfast is plenty with cereal and fried. Hotel has a small pool (The pool is no more from 2020 ). Hotel is only 5 min walk to West Somerset Railway. There is a good pub on the sea front The Smugglers Inn. The Blue Anchor pub has closed as it partly fell into the sea as the cliff collapsed.
