Reviewed By GhostDoggyLittle has changed since our last stay, hotel is comfortable, staff friendly and food great. The quiet location is a boon if resort is busy, it wasn't week of 26th march but with Snowbombing having sold 6,000 tickets this year the Laendenhof will be a quiet oasis from the High Street madness this week! :) Oh, and the skiing was awesome as always. Looking forward to our return next year.

The Siegeler, one of the oldest hotels in Mayrhofen, presents itself in a completely new dress. Young, trendy and hip - already the architecture catches the eye. Past the cosy garden with a spacious terrace and a table tennis table, you pass the reception area into the stylishly furnished lounge. The heart of our newly renovated hotel are the comfortable superior rooms with shower, WC, telephone, hairdryer, shower gel, seating area, fridge, safe, satellite TV (120 channels in all languages) and panoramic balcony.
Good reasonably priced hotel
Reviewed By emmas728Great hotel, the rooms are newly refurbished and spacious with added bonus of the sports bar below for a few drinks! The beds are lovely, big and if you need more pillows just ask, bathroom is one of the nicest I’ve had in a hotel, modern, great water pressure and really warm. Breakfast had options of hot food (bacon, eggs and sausages) or meats, cheese and croissant and lovely freshly ground coffee from the machine. Drying room is handy too, heated boot racks for drying out the gloves ski boots and wet ski clothes but is very very warm so get changed quickly! The hotel is not too far from the penken lift , about 10 mins walk slower in ski boots and 5 minutes from the train and bus station in case you wanted to go to other resorts

Reviewed By leahpcanadaIt was our first time to Mayrhofen and traveling from Canada, I found it difficult to find affordable accommodation at first but I read about this guest house on a travel blog. Scheulinghof was an excellent first experience and we would definitely recommend it. The location was amazing and the breakfast was exactly what we needed before hitting the slopes. The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our balcony faced the Adhorn lift and it was a gorgeous view in the morning. The staff went above and beyond by storing our luggage for us while we stayed on the mountain to do the white lounge igloo experience for the first night we were there. Staying in a traditional Austrian guest house definitely enhanced our snowboard experience.

Only thing I’d replace was the pillows (could be firmer) and maybe the matress. Didn’t have the chance to try the spa. Location was 10 min walk from main street, but there was a ski bus stop very close. All in all, like the place very much!

I had a very nice pizza which they also do takeaways at a reasonable price as it can be expensive in Mayrhofen for food. If large group then book ahead as they were having to turn away people which shows they are in demand, there doing thing right in the restaurant yummy!

The breakfast is good and the restaurant serves nice dishes at dinner. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel and ski depot in the hotel

Tyrolean Hotel - LOADS of space
Reviewed By TERRY LProbably the most generaous accommodation we have ever had on a ski holiday! Compared to our previous ski holidays in France over the last 30 odd years this is palatial - a comparatively huge room - probably twice the area of equivalently priced French chalet rooms. This holiday was set up by Skiworld, who had good friendly staff, and the hotel is well placed at the foot of the Ahorn lift which gives bus access to all the Zillertal area. Generally this was a treat - marred only by the low elevation which meant that skiing in was through slushy snow in the afternoons - but at least there was a route. Huge effort has gone in to extend the slope down as far as Ahorn lift and the hotel benefits. Bathroom and TV are good - hot water and mul;tiple stations - and there is a proper double bed though duvets are singles. There is a safe - but don't use it! We had to have the specialist send special codes to release our goodies.
