A modern structure with six bedrooms, cheerful, friendly and colorful, all with private bathrooms and modern comforts, all unique. Every room is named after a flower whose colors and character reflect the colors of the walls and finishes. At your disposal a large solarium where you can relax, convenient parking and a small lemon grove where empathize with the tranquility of suburban landscape: green and fragrant. Our location, slightly off-center and far from traffic, does not create any obstacle to our guests who will be able to reach the town center and beaches, just over a mile, taking a pleasant walk, by car or by public transport.
We stayed here for the last four nights. Location - it's about a 20 minute walk from centre of Maiori, the walk is fine and road is safe and well lit. You can also get the local bus but we found it unreliable. Rooms - the rooms are spotless, cleaned every day and although our room was small, the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. Breakfast - nice and the girl offered to get us whatever we wanted. Staff are lovely, very helpful and pleasant. The only downsize we found is that it's very noisy at night and in the morning being close to a busy road so could hear horns beeping and lots of traffic. Plus there is a cock a doodle do across the road who is a noisy bird for a few hours in the morning. That was the only downsize of what was a lovely holiday in Maiori and a very pleasant stay in Minihotel IRIS.

The staff are wonderful and give you such a personal service. Especially Ramona who made our stay very special. Always smiling and happy to help out with our dietary needs as my family are both gluten and lactose intolerant. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to all the staff especially our drivers who would take you into Māori and pick you up again. Mostly anytime you wanted. The free transfer was brilliant. Thanks also to the cooks who produced some lovely food.

The monumental complex of Badia Santa Maria de’ Olearia lies in the shadow of a large natural rocky cave, on the side of the road that connects Salerno to Amalfi and considered one the most important Benedictine monastic settlements of the entire territory of the Amalfi Coast. Badia Santa Maria de’ Olearia is the best place to rest mind and soul. The eight cells preserve the ancient monastic style. They are embellished with old fornitures, original elements of décor and precious terracotta tiles. All cells offer the ultimate in luxury and are equipped with the latest comforts: air conditioning, heating, Italian and foreign TV channels, safe, minibar, Wi-Fi Internet access, H-pod system, flax linen, Occitane amenities, bathroom with shower.
It was mine and my partners first trip abroad, and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. Firstly the views from the hotel were breathtaking, overlooking Maori and Amalfi itself. We took trips to Ravello, Amalfi and World famous positano, seen a lot of hotels. None with uniqueness of this hotel as it is built into a cave and over a 1000 years old. The room itself was cleaned everyday and the bed was the best part, so comfortable. The decor had an old feeling which matched every aspect of the hotel. Breakfast was served, continental style to set you up for the day. The team, Vincenzo and the lady, looked after the hotel in the day and were very professional and Italo in the night was also very welcoming. The free shuttle to and from Maori at set times through the day was a highlight and on time every time, taxis can be expensive so this was a very welcoming touch. Overall experience 9.5/10

I spent an insane amount of time finding a place for a few nights on the Amalfi Coast with my husband, but it was all worth it once we stayed here! Tenuta Solomita offers many things you won't find anywhere else on the coast: quiet rooms, unobstructed views, free parking and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Gigi's hospitality was unparalleled, and we loved the fresh breakfasts, with many great options (as well as to-go bags for all the extra pastries we couldn't begin to touch during the morning meal). Our room itself was simple but had everything we needed, including a great bed and wonderful shower. Staying here, you feel like you're in nature...but with quick access to Maori, and from there easy access by private boat or ferry to all the other towns along the coast (or you can of course keep driving onwards, but we preferred to leave the car at a garage in Maori and travel by water after many days driving around Campania). Definitely make a reservation for a meal at ll Faro Capo D'Orso - amazing food, playfully presented and far less stuffy than many restaurants of its caliber. The prices are great too, with fixed meals starting at 80 euro. The only suggestions that could make the stay even better would be a bit of a warmer welcome (the guy who took us to our room didn't really speak to us, even though we both have a basic grasp of Italian) and some organization in the parking area...people parked at all different angles and also sometimes parked at the very bottom of the hill, which really out to be reserved as an area for turning your car around once you've backed down the hill. Also, just a word of warning that the wifi service in the rooms here is not secure - one of my accounts I had to access while staying here got hacked within 24 hours after logging in. They use a third-party wireless provider, so it's probably the system that has an issue, not that someone at the hotel is stealing log-ins. Just beware, and don't access anything of a sensitive nature using wifi if you can avoid it. Despite this, we still loved staying here!

Stanza molto carina e moderna a pochi passi dal mare. Molto pulita e proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile. Lo consigliamo e se dovessimo fare un altro weekend in zona ci ritorneremo. Ci ha riservato anche una piccola colazione mattutina.

Don’t be fooled by the entrance to the B&B . It’s basically a B&B at the top of tan apartment block. But once your up top it’s perfect. Great price right next to the beach ( 2min walk ) Supermarket ( 2 min walk ) and all the restaurants ( 2-6)l min walk) . Very clean and nice inside . The rooftop terrace was brilliant in the afternoons we took our drinks and sat up there before and after we went out for dinner almost every evening. They have a small bar ( 2 euros a beer ) if you haven’t got your own drinks. Parking is 15 euros a day which is very cheap for the area . We also visited the rest of the Amalfi Coast and found Maiori to have better beach and less expensive dinning options. You can get to the other villages very easy . Boat taxi recommend ( 12 pp euros to Positano ) And bus is ( 2 pp euros to Amalfi ) Don’t drive parking is expensive and hardly any spaces . The boat is the best way to travel around

In each room, the guests can admire the breathtaking view. Breakfast in rooms or in terraces.. And from this year there is available: HOME RESTAURANT.
The B&B is on the fifth floor of an apartment block, around 500 metres from the seafront, and within easy walking distance of all restaurants and other amenities. We had the corner room, which offered a great view across the town to the sea, and up the coast (and a balcony). The room itself was nicely decorated, in blues and whites, and was spotlessly clean. The bed was a decent size and comfortable enough (although the pillows were hard and could do with being replaced, I'd say). The owner, Carmen, never made an appearance during our stay but we were well looked after by her able assistant, Pina. A basic breakfast is included in the price - pre-wrapped pastries etc, and excellent coffee. We opted not to pay the extra €5 per person for the 'upgraded breakfast' (there's a fridge in the kitchen where you can store wine, food etc). We spent four nights in Maiori and were very pleased with our choice of accommodation - even if we had trouble with the key to the property (to the extent that a neighbour came out one evening to help us, and even she struggled!). And Maiori is a very nice place - great beach, and a lot less manic than other places along the coast. Overall, warmly recommended.
