Beautiful Boutique Hotel & Location

The rooms are done in the old rustic charm but the bathroom is very modern, with a great shower. Staff are very attentive, Mohamed made sure we were allocated a room with a view, even though we had booked last minute. Coffee shop within the hotel does lovely cakes. Breakfast was good too. Less than 10 minute drive to the harbour area. Parking is available at the hotel. We tried the hotel restaurant, the staff were very nice but we weren't too impressed with our main courses. I had the Fish which was grilled too much, so it was dry. My husband had the steak, it was cooked right but not the best meat. We would dine again, as we had mussels as a starter between us, which was lovely but for a main course we'll try the kebabs instead, as this was a firm fabourite with other local diners.

Sun Rays Hotel is a family owned hotel located 2.5 km to the east of Kyrenia City in Karakum Village, just a few minutes from the center (old harbor) of Kyrenia. Away from noise, well suited for those seeking a quiet environment with friendly and quality service. With only 15 rooms and a restaurant with home made foods, a spectacular setting, Sun Rays is a place guests come back to year after year.

We all regret not staying there. Fully recommend Amazing service. The owner was really kind and understanding

Reviewed By MatDuboisI absolutely enjoyed my long stay of almost 3 weeks. Husband & wife owners were attentive and polite. The great thing was they were at the Hotel every day. They were approachable always. The Foyer and exterior pool area was excellent. I met with family & friends in the beautiful grand foyer & pool area on numerous occasions. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Excellent convenience to restaurants, shops & a short ride to Kyrenia Harbour. A short walk to the Sea. Beautiful water views from the upper levels. I would strongly recommend any length of stay in the main Hotel or in the Family Villas.

Great View but the Noisiest Room I've Ever Had

In your room, you will hear every note of live music from the rooftop bar as well as the electric guitar and musician from the street below. On a Saturday night, this went on until about 1:30 a.m. We politely explained to the hotel that we were cutting our visit short, but they refused any refund at all (and they were nowhere near full so we hadn't kept them from booking someone else). Only stay here if you are a night owl and VERY loud music doesn't bother you.

Reviewed By JilyanStayed here for a couple of days in February with a group of friends for a function, about 14 of us. The staff were brilliant, very helpful. The place was comfortable and clean and very accessible for shopping and the harbor area. Will definitely stay again.

Our hotel was established in 1993 and is in the centre of Kyrenia. It is located next to the authentic harbour and within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. At the Harbur Scene Hotel Girne your comfort is our business.
Good location, friendly, quality and value for money
Reviewed By MikeLondonSEWe three arrived off the coach from Nicosia/Lefkosa and made our way to the centre and down a side street to the harbour. It was very hot. We spotted the big Lamas hotel (bit too brash and expensive looking) and found the Harbour Scene hotel. We were shown the corner room for 3, large, clean, double aspect with a view of the (still being 'renovated') church of Archangel Michael and the Town (turned out to be direct view of sunset). Big LED TV, 4 glasses, fridge, hair drier, thick curtains, AC and a fan. No kettle unfortunately but the fridge was very useful! We declined breakfast at TL10 each and paid the TL200 per night for two nights in advance, no problem. The room (#7) was quiet but in the evening there seemed to be a car alarm firing off regularly! It turned out to be the renovating church's security! It went off a few times overnight and once the second night. Maybe it was the cats. The beds were made during the day and towels changed (although we were quite happy not to change them and we are not used to such service). Wifi was a bit weak for my iPhone 6s (only working by the door as hub was on the corridor )but my friend's android got a signal everywhere in the room. Sometimes it seemed to grind to a halt regardless. Overall very good value for money for where it is and the quality.

Not a breeze
Reviewed By ColinW24386819The Breeze is very tired and needs a complete overhaul if not a rebuild. Our room had had a flood and the flooring was lifting, the bed had one sheet and a type of cover, all power sockets didn’t work and it was the same in my brothers room along the corridor! Yes it’s by the harbour but that’s it. Nearly all the facilities listed are “not” available. Only air con works all other room facilities are hit and miss, no restaurant or bar as it’s all outside. Parking on site was 20 mins walk away to a municipal car park. On the plus side the one person who was trying to run the whole thing did try his hardest. He didn’t do house keeping as he didn’t have the tools to do the job. The main power tripped whilst we were there but only in his establishment. I reset the main breaker for him! He tried his best with the breakfast but again he isn’t given a decent budget but did try. Would we recommend the Breeze Flora? Not until it’s had a complete refurbishment to bring it up to at least it’s advertised standard. There are others left and right that were far far better.

Kaan Hotel has a 60 capacity, consisting of 11 double bedroom and 8 single bedroom flats Kaan Hotel, is known with its personal service and its family atmosphere Kaan hotel is situated near the sea, two minutes walk from the city center and 35 km away from Ercan airport, 75 km from Larnaka airport, flats have hot and cold air condition, fridge, TV, telephone, shower and a kettle for making tea and coffee.
very terrible reception, worst decision ever
Reviewed By rayjJ7203MCi tried to make an instant resevervation and this receptionist man is the definition of racist, as i was eager to be in the room and relax, i paid with my card, immediately i was taken to the room, i knew it was a bad idea going to kaan hotel, the room walls are all peeling like an obvious old room not to talk of the blanket. i checked the bathroom and there was no toiletries kept there the wc doesnt flush, there was no towel kept to top it all there was no working WIFI in the room, the AC refuse to get warm. i instantly spoke with the receptionist about the situation of things, he gave me towel and told me no internet in the room i paid this much turkish lira to be treated like i begged to stay, the receptionist man said in an unpolite tone that i will have to stay at the reception to use the internet, to top it all the internet wont work on my laptop and i had stuffs to do with my laptop as i needed my quiet time in less than 30 min of my arrival that i have used nothing in the room i demanded the man fix the room internet or give me a refund, obviously the man left me on stand and went out without providing solution i even asked him to take half of the pay and give me back the remaining he wont listen. lesson learn kaan hotel is not where you should go
