The hotel has a new Indian/Swedish management with lots of experience in organizing travels. With great confidence you can have trips planned and booked with us. We will also personnally take very good care of you, trying to meet all your requests. The hotel is totally renovated in 2015, and a new edifice for ayurveda treatments has been built. It’s a hotel with nine spacious AC and Non AC rooms with fans, all designed in different styles according to theme, e g Bird’s Nest, Flower Garden, Butterfly Meadow, etc. All rooms face the sunset and have generous balconies with large flower boxes, hanging chairs and other wicker furniture. The coloration of the hotel is Indian and it has a touch of Scandinavian design and functionality.

Thank you Shanto abd the rest of the staff who were always running to help with anything and any time of the day. We will be back!

Reviewed By Dahlia249Very clean bright room on the 3rd floor with a/c. Fab balcony overlooking the beach and close to main beach front restaurants. Kettles etc are not provided. But coffee and breakfast can be arranged and delivered to your room for a small fee. There Is access to a quieter small beach via the hotel. Again for a for a small fee you can use the pool in the next hotel. We had an medical emergency whilst we we here. The staff were fantastic organising a car immediately, driving us to the hospital and staying with us to act as interpreters. We can’t thank them enough. A little gem indeed.

Reviewed By boboindiapepeWhat a good place in Kovalam !!!! This jewel is situated on the seafront of Kovalam.A few meters away from the lighthouse you are in the quiet part of Kovalam Beach. Near to the dropping point of taxi's and tuk-tuk's but so close to everything. Dr. Hari and his staff ( Sree ans Akil ) are the best possible hosts you can imagine. Whatever, whenever you ask for something they will help you in the best and fastest way.Rooms are very clean, towels and bedlinnen are changed every other day.If you need or want ayurvedic treatment you are at the super place. I personally had a 7 day treatment for lower backpain and until now i can feel the possitive effect. Thank you Dr.Hari, if we may we will be back next year.Again for 5 weeks.

Reviewed By missyadumaThis is a cozy and clean budget-friendly hotel to chill and relax or practice yoga on the rooftop terreace. Only 2 min walk to the beach and charming Kovalam buzz. Located kind of protected in a very central typial small and quiet alley. A real treat is not only the peacefulness and the perfect covered rooftop where you can practice yoga by yourself or with a yoga master, but also the service. Delicious Indian dishes served to the room at no extra cost. The manager really cares for his clients' needs and wishes 24/7. He also makes sure you are getting safely and at time to the airport in the middle of the night at a low taxi rate, which is a relieving to know. I started getting into a real creative mode at this place, writing songs, painting pictures and drumming, feeling really at ease. There are super- budget rooms and rooms with balcony at great rates. I decided to add another week and will come back here to study more yoga and drumming.

Reviewed By angiesJ7792CESpent a couple of nights at Godsown Villa recently and was not disappointed. Myself and two friends shared a double room where an additional bed was provided at our request. The room and attached shower room were both spacious and very clean. Also with the room was a separate area that had a sink and could be used as a kitchen if needed. Nice balcony too! There’s a car park out back so you don’t have to stagger too far with cases. The beautiful, sandy, lighthouse beach is easily accessible a short walk through the narrow pedestrian lanes that are lined with small shops and places to get a massage, do yoga or get Ayurvedic treatments. There is plenty of choice in restaurants along the sea front - we used the German Bakery for breakfast and the ABC for dinner. Manager Shibu and Mahesh at the front desk were particularly helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were even invited to a free party\disco up on the large covered roof terrace one night. Possibly not everyone’s cup of tea and I was a little unsure what to expect but went along and had a lovely time - it felt very safe. I’d be very happy to stay there again. Thank you ?

Reviewed By Mike WNow called the Lighthouse Edge Beach Resort. This place now needs a new listing. We stayed over the Christmas period and paid 2,500 rupees for the room. Nice place although it was rather noisy at night with the dogs barking and revellers below. Great views of the beach and lighthouse.
