Reviewed By Tour58515689978Would definitely recommend staying, whether it's just for 1 night. Eva and her husband was super helpful! We had encountered 2 Rain spiders that were just chilling on the roof and then they helped getting them out for us without harming the spiders. Helped with anything we needed, whether it was a recommendation for good food nearby or something we needed at the stay. Ps: Love the whole train carriage theme they had going! Very cozy!

Reviewed By F5173JPsuewIve just had a weekend at Halliwell Country Inn and its one of those "go there" places. The value for money is outstanding. We had a fabulous fire place in our room with complimentary firewood left at your door. The pool is in pristine condition, but a little chilly for this time of the year! A baby shower was being held in the garden and the the staff where helpful, friendly and quite delightful. Fabulous base for all the meander has to offer. Not that you have to leave for any meals - delish dishes! Many Many thanks All the very best to Joe and Spanner and team

11 Karkloof is situated in the KZN midlands, nestled amongst the best single tracks in Southern Africa and only 6.5 km from Howick. The property was previously an old mushroom farm which adds to the charm of its rustic self catering units. The accommodation comprises of 5 cottages sleeping 4 each, Falls House sleeping 15 and Round House sleeping 12. Each unit is self contained and fully furnished.

Out of a storybook
Reviewed By dewald407What an amazing experience. We spent one night at this crazy beautiful cottage and wish out stay was longer. It is as if one lives in a story book. Everything was wonderful and the host super friendly and helpful. We will treasure our experience at Little fields and can recommend it to everyone. The cottage inside was beautiful with an amazing outside shower. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

A lovely surprise
Reviewed By Karen MWe were driving along the Midlands Meander and needed somewhere to stay. We pulled in , not sure what to expect as the estate is somewhat rambling. We were given a wonderful suite which was so spacious and comfortable with a view. We took a walk along the river , very pleasant. Dinner that evening was simply perfect. The staff were very pleasant and a young woman called Bubbles was a star. Can definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

Reviewed By LBdiscoveriesThe house was spacious, well-equipped, large patio with seating, a braai and patio heater, and fireplace indoors. Ambience was great, backdrop on the farm beautiful with cows grazing - wish we could stay longer than 2 nights but hope to go back. Good location just outside Rosetta and close to Nottingham Road to either chill or explore the KZN Midlands from there. The fresh homemade bread, eggs, milk and butter we found on our arrival was a pleasant surprise and nice touch.

Above all the mantra there is KINDNESS and ABOVE AND BEYOND . Thank you for all of this= demonstrated to my hard working team during their recent stay.

Reviewed By billfO8031USVery Dated, poorly Maintained, Poorly Cleaned, Poorly Catered, No air conditioning, no drinking glasses, 1 ply toilet paper. Stains on furniture, stains on bed throw, hangers in the room from Woolworths, Shower is clogged and does not produce sufficient water, Mold in the bathroom, moldy shower curtain. Breakfast very poor. Would not recommend.
