We are one of the oldest Hotel in Ghandruk and have been serving hikers and trekkers since 1970. Since we are the oldest we have quite a big experiences so that our guests will have perfect enjoyable time. We give very high priority to hygiene and 80% of food served in our restaurant we get it from our garden and field, which mean it’s organic. View from the garden or courtyard is perfect as we can see Annapurna, Hiuchuli, Gangapurna, Fishtail and others. We have very high level of customer satisfaction as you can see from our reviews and we are proud of that. In Nepali we have a saying “ Always treat your guests with highest level” and we adhere to it.
A friendly family hotel, one of the oldest in Ghandruk (they should advertise with that). First of all I like the low key atmosphere, very peaceful. The hotel has a big terrace facing east (like most hotels) with clear view, no obstructions so you can see all the mountains. Rooms are good quality, not old but pleasant. Warm water, towel, sitting toilet and good sockets to charge your phone. WiFi covers half the hotel. I (solo traveler from Amsterdam, trekking Annapurna Ciruit) was visiting in May 2022 which is low season.

Guide for various destination: I guess it took us about 3 and half hours to reach the hotel from Himalayan Front. Also, back to Pokhara (Temple Tree Hotel) it took about 3-4 hrs. The road was really bad after we reached a certain point while going to the hotel. We could see people trekking too but we thought it was no point trekking to the hotel as cars can go there but worse that that was it was dusty the whole way, and probably a headache for trekkers. However, once we reach the top you cannot use the car from that point so you need to hike if you want to go to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) or other destination(s). Location: The location is amazing. It is almost at the top of that hill so, you can see the breathtaking mountain from that point and if you are lucky you can see the sun ray shine on the mountain too. Staff: The staffs were really kind and polite. Room: The room is spacious, however, no matter which room you book, all rooms have one single bed and a double bed. The only main problem was it was cold at night and not enough blanket. WiFi: They have free WiFi but the net is slow. Noise: The room is not sound proof so when the dogs barked through the night I couldn’t sleep properly. Would recommend you to take earplugs if you are light sleeper like me. Meal: The breakfast is good and also the dinner/lunch (Thakali). However, when we asked for butter for breakfast it did not taste like butter at all. It was more of coconut taste than of butter. Overall: I really enjoyed staying there. At night we were lucky that it was cloudless night and we were able to see millions of stars from the roof, not only that the very next day we were also able to see Mt. Macchapucchre and another mountain (forgot the name). But besides that I don’t think there is much to do, so I would reckon you to stay there for just 1 night and not more.

Very good accommodation for this trek. BYO toilet paper. Free wifi. Shower was lukewarm (i'm told when it's sunny and they get plenty of solar power the showers are hot, so probably weather dependent).

We got into this guesthouse as part of punhil trek. We came with kids and were able to get one room for all of us with a shower with hot water and a toilet. Maybe its trivial but still it made us happy. The wi fi is good and the resturant serve good food both for adults and for the kids.

This is an amazing place to stay. The hostess Sara made me feel like a long lost son returning home. Stayed here one night on the way to ABC. Sara got us everything we needed with great expediency and worked very hard to make sure all guests were comfortable. Would love to return here and spend more time. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel Mountain View & Restaurant is situated in Ghandruk, popular place for treks in the Annapurna range of Nepal. Here you can have pleasure accomodation with full of natural vision and beauty. This is one of the best sites to view beauty of Annapurna range along with Machapuchre, holy mountain of Nepal, and know Gurung culture and village. We offer peaceful and relaxed environment with pure and clean air.

Stay at one of the original premier guesthouses perfectly located in Ghandruk with an expansive view of 5 mountains. We say "come for the view and stay for the food" as both our lovely managers have undergone culinary training in Kathmandu and each of their traditional recipe is rich with care and unique twists. Our suits are clean and cozy, most with attached baths. Camping grounds and kitchen access are provided.
We stayed for one night , which was enough. The blankets and pillows had visible mould and smelt awful. I had to put my own clothes over the pillow to try and mask the smell. They hadnt been washed either with stains from the past visible. I didnt bother using the shower as I just wanted to get out of there. Hosts were lovely and food nice but a terribly depressing place to stay.

Aama in this homesty is nice. But her son who helps her in this homestay is very bad. In ghandruk there are so better homestay. If you are looking for stay find other one. Don’t stay there. I stayed there 2021 march. I have very better experience.

Rooms are 1,200 rupees a night but the hotel will DOUBLE it if you don’t eat at their restaurant. There was no hot water. I asked if there was a chance they’d make a fire because it was minus degrees and we had got very wet from a rain storm we were caught in. The two staff members spoke between themselves and eventually said it would be 800 rupees per person for half an hour - I got the distinct feeling they just didn’t want to do it and wanted to put me off. Also, at 6pm we got a knock on our door and the man just said ‘are you eating then?’ which I guess was a hint that they wanted to get the cooking over and done with. It was bad luck that we were woken up around 5:30am by dogs barking. One good point was that we did get an extra blanket so we weren’t cold in the night.
